I went to Vegas with my ex back in 2017. We went for a weekend to see Britney Spears perform during her residency. To be honest, we didn't step into a casino or gamble at all because there were slot machines EVERYWHERE and they seemed more like obstacles to get through. It was more fun walking along the strip with a drink in hand, going into the mall with the cool sky ceiling, and obviously the night life and shows were fun. Also, the old strip is really cool, it's more of a street festival vibe with zip lining and a bunch of street food. But yeah, it's a fun vibe if you want to go out to eat and drink and dance, but gambling wasn't really interesting for us.
