However, this a situation that no one is ever going to understand. To have your privacy violated and have the world see it and learn about it the same day you get your phone back after leaving the villa you just can't imagine what that is like and to somehow speak about it with your partner when you are trying to process it yourself. I don't think Kendall meant to lie and hurt Nicole it was a hard moment and I appreciate that he is taking accountability and apologizing. One thing I will say and this was my main ISSUE with this problem is, this was a private moment that should have been handled behind closed doors. I don't think this was anyone's business to hear about and opine. I think it's difficult for Nicole to process this when she was triggered from her past traumas in relationships. What I will not agree with is her going to podcast speaking about the video of Kendall and opening a door for people to speculate Kendall's sexuality. That is not confirmed by Kendall. You do not have the right to speak on that specific matter on a podcast have the podcast host continuously insinuate his sexuality. She did not have to go into the details that are not about her. She can speak about this experience and how it hurt her, how it was a triggering experience because of her past that way people will understand why she does not tolerate lying. That podcast episode was not okay and the host should have never even allowed those pieces to be aired it should have been cut out. I do not believe Kendall is NOT Innocent clearly he has a lot he needs to work on himself he needs to learn how to communicate with his partner without omitting important details. Because it is hurtful. This is a matter that should have never been aired like this.

Like I get Aaron and Kaylor, but the whole Rob, Leah and Andrea thing was SO DRAGGED OUT, no one even cared about Andrea after Casa. They barely gave any screen time to the top three. Literally JaNa and Kenny weren't in that montage until the very end. They barely acknowledged Miguel and Leah's relationship. Even THE WINNERS Serena and Kordell seem to take a backseat. It's like they were bitter that the final 4 wasn't who they wanted it to be (they wanted the top 2 to be Aaron & Kaylor vs Rob & Leah, and the last two final couples to prolly be Serena&Kordell and Nicole&Kendall) so they decided to focus on their wishful top 2 the whole reunion, even tho it is 2 (technically 3 w/ Rob &Andrea) relationships that are done and have already been dealt with. So annoying

She could've made a statement simply saying we're still together, I'm by his side. No one would've questioned anything or gave her hate. She expected him to defend their relationship all while dealing with what happened and I don't think that's fair. Also, she did a podcast talking about it, questioning his sexuality & trust which was messed up considering they were in a relationship still.

Also Rob didn't even leave with her so how strong a connection was it really?? Also, this season wouldn't have nearly been as entertaining without that decision so idk why he's still pressed about it. Team JaNa!!

While my feelings would be hurt, I could see his POV and one not put the situation out there on REALITY TV and actually talk to him? She literally ghosted him up until the reunion just to have a moment and expose him? Like as much as her feelings were hurt, she’s literally doing what Kendall did. In a moment of weakness, instead of taking the high road she went LOWER (imo) than a lie that could be reversed and apologized for. That’s why everyone is defending Kendall because the whole world didn’t even know abt the video and NOW they do. And if he was trying his hardest to communicate and you didn’t even give him that when you DIDNT even know he was lying at the time. What else could he do? Like I understand honesty and all trust, but at the moment I would also not out and expose him in a moment of weakness. But that’s just me. If the roles were reversed Kendall would’ve gotten absolutely shitted on if he treated Nicole like this at the reunion.

2024-12-22 17:16:21 +0000 UTCY’all gotta understand Nicole not in the wrong for not trusting him but she’s tryna overly make herself the victim in a situation where Kendall is the victim he clears as day said after it was leaked he tried to text her and fly her out to Dallas to have that moment to talk and apologize but she didn’t respond so he gave her space because that’s what it seem like she wanted he already owned up to lying to her and he clearly said he couldn’t even talk to his family about the situation so of course it was hard on him yes if you love someone you should always be honest but we all know love might be the glue of a relationship but love only won’t keep it going you gotta love someone through ALL of their flaws and mistakes Nicole is showing that she can’t because until the reunion she hasn’t given him the chance to own up to his mistake and that’s why she’s been getting hate not because we don’t think she has a right to be mad but because she’s not listening to understanding his side as well she only listening to get to her next point in how he wrong but both sides have to understand one another and she’s not tryna understand his side you gotta know all pages of the book to fully understand the story 🤷🏾♂️

2024-12-22 15:08:27 +0000 UTCWhen it comes to the whole backseat thing & saying who was heavily swaying for Andrea to go home I think it just comes down to more miscommunication - like everything else this season. Lol. It was definitely a group decision but if I had to assign roles Leah most heavily pushed for Andrea to go & Liv most heavily pushed for Nicole to go. Kaylor went back and forth but started on Nicole and ended up on Andrea after talking it through. Serena was probably the only one truly in the backseat but also leaning towards Andrea. Where things got screwed up was Liv hearing the backseat talk which made her think Leah was trying to say she had no part in it which definitely wasn’t the case so that made Liv put 20 on 10. Backseat was the wrong word but even while using it Leah wasn’t completely excusing herself it was just different interpretations. But the whole semantics talk of “tried to” I just think is silly. I really don’t think if Liv heard that it would’ve made that much of a difference and I honestly can’t even fault Rob for leaving that part out — IDK if it was even intentional cuz they’re kinda forgettable words especially when you’re playing telephone which is the real issue. And I still think Aaron was the real villain in the whole situation since he was the one egging it all on and going around to everyone. But Liv should’ve talked to Leah first before jumping to conclusions. While I think Leah was the most vocal about Andrea maybe not being there for the right reasons [which with Andrea’s behavior online after the show she may have been right] and how it’s not relationship island (plus then constantly defending why Nicole should stay instead) it did feel like Liv maybe over corrected trying to address the lie she thought Leah was telling. Now even with all that I don’t think it was some malicious play on Leah’s part to get Andrea out just to spite Rob - that’s where people lose me. They had to send someone home and it obviously wasn’t gonna be JaNa lol. Again it was all just bad communication like the entire season. So I don’t think Liv was necessarily incorrect in the things that she said, she just put 20 on 10 before getting Leah’s side, and that’s what she apologized for, not for the actual content of what she was saying. And one last thing it’s so annoying when people act like because Liv spoke the most she’s actually responsible for Andrea leaving. Liv’s literally the only one who voted for Nicole to go. She spoke the most cuz she moderated the convo but almost every point she made was against Nicole. It was never about who said the most words, it was about who said the most words against Andrea. At the end of the day that doesn’t matter tho cuz IT WAS A GROUP DECISION! I just can’t stand when people try to go to that side of the coin, like no, just stick to the actual facts that everyone was involved and said stuff not just Leah.

I think the reason you see more people sticking up for Kendall is because Kendall talked to people about the situation, where as Nicole didn’t talk to anyone so going into this they’re only hearing Kendall’s perspective. Serena was the only one who no longer was friends with Kendall after having rewatched how he acted during casa and that scene when he sort of invades her space. She stopped being friends with him. That’s why she was more objective in the situation.

Specially Kenny & JaNa, and Serena and Kordell because Miguel had to go back to UK so Miguel & Leah weren’t physically together until like 2 days before the reunion. That being said that only time Kendall posted of Nicole is when all the islanders made it back to the state and peacock had them go to universal studios. It was clear something was going on with Kendall and Nicole as they were never near each other. Then they posted one awkward photo. Maybe 2 weeks after they wrapped Kendall & Kenny did a club appearance. This is when most people assumed Kendall and Nicole were over and that couldn’t say anything until the reunion because of how Kendall was acting, especially compared to Kenny, whom while partying had clear boundaries. There was a weird situation where at one of the club appearance a few black women came online saying that Kendall had secrutiy kick them out of their section, despite multiple white women being let in (these women also made it a point to say that Kenny wasn’t involved and was just in his own bubble). This supposedly turned out to be a “misunderstanding” and Kendall apologized to the girls and invited them out the next day. Those girls ended up posting with Kendall and vice versa and the “air was cleared”. Nicole also was at the club in her state during this time as well which is a little ironic. I think they’re both at fault. But yeah it was a messy.

When they got their phones is when Kendall discovered the video. Kendall then informed Nicole about it but didn’t see the video, and he told her that he had sent it to an ex. It wasn’t until a day or two later that the girls were filming for the reunion (the finalist, Rob, & Kaylor all filmed a lot of stuff for the reunion that never made the episode) JaNa pulled Nicole aside and asked her how she was doing with everything. Nicole said it sucks for Kendall. I think something’s were also said that made JaNa confused and that’s when she showed Nicole the video. That’s when Nicole realized the video was taken in sequester waiting to start filming for the show. He sent on a dating app. Yes Kendall lied, and it’s a terrible lie and understand Nicole’s hurt but Kendall also went through something traumatic with that video being leaked and that’s the first thing he sees when he gets his phone back. The lie wasn’t acceptable but understand why Kendall lied. That being said I don’t think Nicole handled it the best she could either. Regardless there were more things about Kendall that made fans not like him. Nicole & Kendall broke up the day after the reunion was posted when Nicole did a podcast in which she continues to talk about the video despite Kendall asking her not to talk about in the podcast and she ignored his request. But yeah they’re both messy

She was playing victim. She was saying he wasn't reaching out and that she just wanted him to check up on her, but then we hear Kendal say he was texting her and she was being cold or not responding so he thought maybe giving her space to process would help. He even offered to go to her or fly her out to him so they could talk in person but she didn't want to. Then she goes on to say that she didn't care about that but wanted to have a conversation. How is he gonna apologize, take accountability and move forward if she isn't even giving him the opportunity to do that?? I never liked Kendal and I don't think he is a genuine person, I do agree that he shouldn't have lied to her and maybe communicated that he needed time to process everything. I understand everything that he went through was such a shocking and embarrassing thing. I think a big part of why it had to be so hard for him was because literally the video got leaked before he even came out of the villa. He didn't have any connection to the outside world and had no fucking clue that it happened and he was exposed for millions of people to see, his close friends and family seeing such an intimate and private video. Imagine coming out of a once in a lifetime experience, on cloud 9, just to be immediately met with such an overwhelming situation. Having to confront it to your family, being harassed and bullied by thousands of people online while also being outed. I just didn't understand what Nicole wanted from the situation and why she kept pushing it, I think they should've handled it off camera cause it just seemed like she was wanting the camera time. I don't think people should have attacked her for anything but he was trying to apologize, he took accountability and admitted that he was wrong… what more could he do? It happened and there was no taking it back. Im not saying she should accept it but I just felt like she kept going in circles and it wasn't getting anywhere. She should've just left it at that and communicated that she would need more time or for them to continue the conversation in private to really be able to figure out if they would work it out or just go their separate ways.
