It was kinda obvious who would win and who would be last place, based off of polls across all social media. Serena and Kordell were on top for the last two weeks by a huge margin & a lot of people disliked Kendall. 2nd and 3rd was kind of a toss up. This is only the second season of Love Island I watched, but I loved it!

This is the 2nd Reunion that has been done for a Love Island series in the USA the other season that had a reunion was Season 4 which was the inaugural season on PeacockTV. There was about a month in between the Finale Taping and Reunion Taping. The Reunion was recorded at the NBC Studios in NYC while season 4 brought everyone back to Fiji so not everyone was there for the reunion. Can't wait to see your thoughts on the reunion I have enjoyed your reaction videos highly. Keep doing what you are doing!

S4 of USA had a reunion, it just was like a day after filming the finale so none of the final couples really had time to go back and watch anything back

Great recap of the season!! Yall are right, a lot does happen between the finale and the reunion. A lot of the islanders did interviews/podcasts/panels leading up to the reunion and after it that shed light on multiple relationships & reactions that we see at the reunion. As many comments said, this is the first reunion for the USA series. This is because from July 5 - June 30, it was the most watched series. They got like over 919.1 million minutes viewed July 5-11 and 434 million minutes viewed June 24-30. You are both right, a lot did happen in the midst of wrapping the show, but before the reunion. This will all be shown later, no spoilers. I really loved the finale. I have my thoughts, but I will save them for the reunion. What I will say, is I really enjoyed each couple. I highly encourage you to watch another season, and engage in the voting. It’s fun, but also adds another layer to the show that’s makes it more entertaining. Great reaction, and thank y’all for sharing your commentary with us. I love getting my food together, laying back, and watching y’all react 😭🩷. Please keep it up, and again thank y’all. Can’t wait for the reunion ‼️

This was the first time love island ever had a reunion for a season. Probably because how popular this season was. So yeah they actually didn’t know they were having a reunion.

Yeah because love island USA has never been big. Started off on CBS, then moved to peacock for s4. They did a reunion for s4 that was filmed like a day after the finale. And it was terrible, then didn’t do it for s5, but s6 became so big that they decided to do the reunion.

The finale aired July 21st, but they wrapped filming like a day and half earlier. The reunion was filmed August 14th, but aired August 19th. So close to a month after filming wrapped.

The finale is such a feel good episode. Perfect ending to a great season. I agree, I love that you can easily forget that this is technically a competition show while watching it.
