This is a summer show, Sophie 😂 Anyway, I'm excited that y'all are wrapping up the season. For context, the reunion was filmed a month after the end of the season and it was also a last minute decision to have one so none of the Islanders knew yet that they'd be seeing each other again so soon. Also, I agree with Mair, they won't be able to recreate this masterpiece of a season. But if y'all ever feel like watching some old seasons that were almost as good as this one, I recommend Love Island USA seasons 2 and 4.

By the way way the reunion happened a month after the finale not immediately after the finale

2024-12-10 15:40:19 +0000 UTCAt this point Leah was the fan favorite of the season which is why all the islanders were shocked when she was saved because in the villa the producers made them think Leah was hated by America. I mean look at everyone was shocked including her and Miguel. They thought they were leaving. Love islander producers made rob pull Leah after he was dumped. They at that point knew Leah was the it girl from the season with the most fans and knew Rob was coming out to a world of Hate towards him for how he treated Leah. People still couldn’t stand him and been waiting for him to get dumped. Also The producers usually sit the islanders down to prep them for what’s to come on the outside , they do this for all the islanders. They told Rob he was disliked by a lot of ppl and am sure Rob knew hints he’s been in the bottom all season. So they made Rob have to final talk with Leah to save face not because he wanted to genuinely however the viewers saw right through it.

So there’s lots of interviews and podcasts that they did that gave way more context to things we didn’t get to see in the villa. There was a lot of things that happened in the villa and outside that they had time to see before the reunion but unfortunately there’s not a lot of context in the reunion about those things. Serena and Leah both thought they were hated on the outside even though they both were actually never at the bottom in a fan vote.

I feel like you guys should know a couple things before watching the reunion because a lot has happened on the outside before the reunion was filmed. But this was a great reaction and faint wait for the finale episode and reunion.
