Long, but yea Sophie got it right, Daia is calculated. I’ve said it before, and said it in real time watching this show. She instigated that conversation, and she seemed happy that Serena blew up….as it could’ve possibly pushed Kordell towards herself. Yet, that is clearly not the case. Kordell I feel like tried more than they showed. The casa girls just lived in delulu land. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand why the girls are stand offish. Also keep an eye on why Sierra cried. Those girls realized the tactics they used did nothing, and I find that interesting (more to come on the other casa girls implying a similar notion). It’s interesting because on aftersun they were hellbent on their strategies to get men they had their eyes on, but realized that moving the ways some of them did….not only made them feel embarrassed later, but didn’t get them what they thought it would. Kendall is a follower and enjoyed being the one to come back that “didn’t do anything”. Despite him hyping up everyone to negate the rules the set prior. His sister lowkey confirmed this on her ig but I digress cause spoilers. Great reaction, hope the next ep comes soon 🤞🏾 I truly enjoy the takes you guys have, and I like seeing how the opinions shift thru eps. The way it’s filmed leaves so much room to see minor things, things that will change ur mind on something so fast. It had so much to do with fan voting, and I find that interesting to see. Lol yeah when Sophie said “it’s basically been 2 days now” and they kept mentioning him letting days pass - I’m just like HUH?! The beginning of this episode was literally the same night they got back. He was smart to hold off that first night especially if she had just gone off on him for 45 min at the fire pit. It’s a delicate balance of giving her room to breathe while also trying to have a convo. He just ultimately ended up waiting a lil too long cuz others got to her first. But who knows maybe that was for the best too so they could both just be honest and raw.

Y'all are giving Aaron way too much credit lol. He was not trying to take accountability for how he moved in Casa. He only tried to talk to Kaylor immediately so he could control the narrative and manipulate her and, unfortunately, Kaylor is easily manipulated. Kordell, on the other hand, did a way better job at taking accountability for his actions and expressing sincere regret. I agree, his age and timidness definitely showed a bit here and he definitely should've pushed harder for a conversation with Serena earlier (or at least before Daia did) but I also understand he was trying to respect her boundaries and her feelings because she was very emotional. But let's also remember that so much is edited out and there were likely multiple attempts to talk to her that we didn't see. Additionally, you guys kept saying that it's been like 2-3 days since they returned from Casa lmao but this whole episode is basically the next 24hrs after Casa, so emotions are very raw for everyone still.

I can’t wait to see in the next couple of episodes how your opinion on people/ couples change based on behaviors that was show to us and what we know about them. And how they move. But the dock scene alone put love island on the map and that is why many people started watching this season in specifically. I personally have watched prior seasons before but this season hands down is up there. Season 6 I would say is the best then season 2 and then season 5. Love island games is really good as well can’t wait for those reactions.

Hot take: one of my favorite moment of whole show is Kenny and Jana’s conversation and his tears after. I believe that he really regretted what he did and it also showed the sincerity of his feelings for Jana! Serena and Kordell’s dock scene is a true art! I remember how I cried with Serena and feel her emotions, when I watched it by myself. P.S. you criticize Kordell behavior in this episode way more that Aaron’s, but if you ask me Aaron is a real villain! And Kaylor need learn how respect herself more.

this most def the most popular episode of the entire season. a lotttt of people started watching after the argument clip between kordell and serena went viral (me included). few things : one, kaylor is too sweet. that girl couldn’t even last 5 hours being mad at aaron smh. i was really hoping she was gonna stand on business like serena but we all know how emotional she is so ion even blame her. i’m just proud that she put him in his place & let him know she wasn’t gonna tolerate anymore bullshit. secondly, daia .. lmfao yall know she always gon catch strays in my comments 🤣. that ho continued to piss me off, stirring the pot when it’s not even her business. acting so high and mighty like she was gonna tear their bond .. gurl anyways. third, kendall’s snake ass … UGH don’t even get me started. i agree with mair on a lot of things regarding kordell’s commentary during the argument. he could’ve said things better. but in the moment, he was probably stressed and anxious about truly losing serena so words weren’t coming out the right way. next episode gets juicier :)

Kordell giving her space the first night was the right thing to - she needed time to process her emotions and cool off. Trying to mend things when you just came in with another girl would have just angered her further. Where he went wrong was waiting too long to approach her. I disagree with Mair when Serena confronts Kordell. Simply saying "I choose you and f*ck Daia!" would not work on Serena. She's smart and frankly that would just sound like lip service. It comes off as disingenuous suddenly proclaiming you "choose" me when I'm confronting you about your sh*tty behavior. "What does that have to do with your what I'm saying about your behavior - and the guys lying to me?" "Why are you only saying this now that I'm angry at you? " It comes off as trying to placate her just because she's mad at you and avoiding a hard conversation. If you had actually meant that then that proclamation should have been expressed prior to me confronting you etc. There is no good way of handling that conversation because frankly, Serena rightfully felt betrayed by a lot of people who she considered her "friends". Kordell's way of admitting that he f**ked up was probably the better way to go about it.

I also wanna give JaNa her props cuz yeah Serena/Kordell were the main event but JaNa had her moment with Kenny too and had that boy bawling! 😭 — Also I think JaNa is totally valid in her feelings and she did have a much rougher time with her matches than Leah and let’s not pretend like Leah didn’t spiral over Rob. I honestly don’t like comparing the 2 but Mair acting like it’s the same thing and it’s not. Coye barely acted interested in JaNa so she chose Connor, as soon as Leah was single Connor dropped JaNa and chose Leah then went on to also disrespect her, she didn’t really get a chance to explore anything with Hakeem past friendship cuz he got eliminated a day or 2 after coupling up but from his own words she wasn’t really his type anyway. Then came Kenny who she felt special with then he recoupled after Casa - and yes they were only coupled up for 2 days like Miguel & Leah but he was pretty much just focused on JaNa once he came in so it was a few days longer. Leah’s only L pre-casa was Rob - yes it was a big L but that was it and the Liv portion doesn’t even count cuz he was still pursuing Leah heavy. Then she was with Connor but she’s the one who didn’t like him and once they were ending Miguel started actively pursuing her. She always had options while JaNa didn’t. Again, I hate comparing the two cuz it sometimes causes unnecessary discourse but they simply weren’t in the same boat.

Daia knew what she was doing. She wanted to drive a wedge between Kordell and Serena further. It wasn't her place to speak with Serena and he told her not to. Pretty sure production convinced Kenny to bring that girl back because he wasn't interested in her at all. Jana had Kenny crying all night.

They didn’t say JaNa was the first to say it. Just that she was the first one to tell Serena about it - which could still be possible - but we see where it likely originated. As when Serena asks Daia she said “Leah said…” and when Leah is talking about it she says “Miguel said…”. It’s just innocent miscommunication like often happens.

And to be clear the 90/10 comment is not something we saw Kordell say, to this point of the show. If you even listen back to the Leah/Miguel convo that’s not what Miguel said. He just mentioned that the video was only a fraction of what happened and the other 90% OF THE TIME Kordell was asking Daia if she would be okay if he brought her back but still chose Serena. It appears Leah just innocently misunderstood. Maybe a bad game of telephone. But it goes back to what Sophie said it’s just too many outside words and opinions that got to Serena before Kordell did. Everybody just needs to mind their own business! But easier said than done. 🙃

I think Kordell and Kenny are the most emotionally mature men in the season especially Kordell. The way he handled the dock scene and what Serena was feeling is very mature. Compared to Aaron who tried to dumb down what Kaylor was feeling by saying things like “it was only a 2 minute video” like come on. I also think Kordell didn’t really get to say as much because the situation was just so hyped up understandable because Serena is going through it. But their argument def showed how much they both care for each other you don’t show that much compassion for someone you don’t REALLY like. You definitely should watch the next ep as soon as possible you’ll what you’ll see.
