Well this went better than pulp fiction! I do agree a show would be nice, although the films are already great, i don’t need it, but I’d watch it. Can i recommend “ the platform”? Deep movie about society. It is Spanish, it’s on Netflix, you don’t get bored, would love your comments!

2024-04-20 04:14:15 +0000 UTCMost (if not all) books should be made into a show where it can be fleshed out better, than a movie where they are crammed for time and leave out most important details for embellished superficial action. Books are always more descriptive. The setting is in the far distant future, the capitol is very rich and the people are excessive and have eccentric fashions. The selection from each of the 12 districts is 1 "young man" and 1 "young woman" between the ages of 11-17 (so children, 1 boy and 1 girl). Katniss and Gale were never dating, they were just best friends. Gale seemed to like Katniss, but in both the books and the movies Katniss never seemed to have any romantic feelings for Gale. And they do a piss poor job of showing it in the movie, but Peeta has been crushing on Katniss for a long time, but they never socialized, and Katniss (who does NOT deserve Peeta) only seems to be pretending to have affection or Peeta to put on a show so she can survive. The games would have been horrible if it were 24 adults (12 men & 12 women) above the age of 18 yo all fighting to the death in one arena, but it is a million times worse that they are all children under the age of 18 (as young as 11)!
