Still team Jon. Idc what happened…Dany could’ve just burned Cersie - not kill children. And she big mad over something that don’t even rightfully belong to her. She was never the rightful heir of the throne. But what Dany wants takes precedence over innocent lives? That’s wack but Jon AND Ned still the GOATS! Ayeeee

Apparently to some of you if someone was a good person they always will be even if they murder a million innocents. I kinda assumed Sophie would be that way because I watched the BB reactions and the way girl defended EVERYTHING Walt did, it’s just weird lol. I know it’s a fictional show but it’s quite disturbing. I’m gonna chalk it up to y’all being young I guess.

She's always been a roadblock away from threatening to burn someone or everyone. The difference is she always had advisors that she trusted - her best friend, her Jorah, her babies... she's lost all but one of those things now and everyone else around she either just met or can't trust. She's fully giving into her worst impulses but make no mistake they are absolutely HER impulses.

But there is nothing, nothing, in the show/book that justifies mass murder of tens of thousands. When has she ever burned innocents before? That's what its about, not who I want gone. I think, for show Dany, its out of character and I completely agree with that argument and why wouldn't someone be team Dany after all the good she's done. But with the ending they gave her, shitty as it is, there's no justification for that.

Danny started off being told what to do , her brother TOLD/MADE her marry Sir Fine Drogo ( which we came to love their love) but was TOLD she had no choice… How How How How many times has Danny done what other ppl told/asked her what she SHOULD do and she listened and then winds up suffered from it…. her not snapping should have happened long ago… She fought the Night King and his freaking army did ALL the work , meanwhile Cersi knew and let them do the heavy lifting ..while Cersi walked around in the sun sipping wine 🍷 She BE-HEADED HEADED Danny BFF CERSI BLOW UP THE FREAKING Court with wildfire killing Marjory and who knows how many INNOCENT ppl ( but ppl forget that) Danny went BEYOND the wall lost a dragon took evidence back to Cersi … who then LIED and said she help and as per usual she didn’t .. again meanwhile she’s walking around sipping wine 🍷 She had a choice to be judged for her sins/crimes and SHE said “I choose VIOLENCE” Danny did ALL THE WORK WTF DID CUNTY CERSI DO??? ( I’ll wait) Cersi NEVER SHOWED MERCY How many times did Danny?????? I don’t care who agrees and or not I’m TEAM MOTHER OF DRAGONS 🐉 So Cersi can do evil things ALL 8 seasons . Killing Innocent ppl , but not Danny… The only time it’s ok for Dracarys 🔥 🐉 to rain hell is when it’s benefits some of y’all and who y’all want gone …. Danny Finally had it and was fed up & everybody wanna be like “ Danny no 👎🏽” Mad Queen , she just lost everything , she became everything she was trying not to be… I’m so disappointed “ boooooooooooooo👎🏽 and finally said F it I’m doing it my way .. He wasn't seen as a great ruler who united the lands, he's a conqueror who forced submission through fire and blood. And I've have to go into the lore but I don't think he even did something as horrible as what Dany does in this episode.

2023-08-05 06:02:33 +0000 UTCIt’s crazy how Tyrion tried to save his sister (telling Dany about the bells signal in King’s Landing) before Dany told him that they had captured Jaime. He’s been simping for his family since season 7. For example, in the season 7 finale when he found out Cersei was pregnant or him contriving an entire plan to bring a wight to King’s Landing to prove the threat to her. That plan led to Dany losing her dragon. His plans after becoming Dany’s hand were awful and only weakened her at every turn. As you said Mair, Varys is usually way more smarter with his scheming. And look at how he went out, being super obvious with his moves. These are some of the reasons why people don’t enjoy season 8. It’s just not on par with the typical Game of Thrones quality in earlier seasons. Side note are y’all gonna watch House of the Dragon next?

They had been offered to work on Star Wars so they wanted to finish this asap and go work on that. instead of handing the show over to someone else, they just rushed everything. I don't think I would've minded where we're at with all the characters if it had been fleshed out. Dany's descent into madness was way too quick and not believable and I say this as someone who always subscribed to the 'mad queen' theories from way back. they should've showed tyrion slowly becoming a bad hand of the queen as the reality of facing his family got closer. jon should've wrestled more with duty vs love, etc. just so many things happening too quickly.

He Said bend the knee or you will die, and no one judged him because of that. So why judge Daenerys now? After what she has been through? Viseryon and Rhaegal died, Jorah died Missandei died…of course she won t trust anyone But her closer people WHO had been by her side since the beggining. Of course she goes a Little delulu after the deaths of So many people that she cared and loved and considered family. She can t trust Jon, she can t trust tyrion, she can t trust anyone at this point, only greyworm:)))

They didn't show how their love developed or show the struggles they were having with each other. It was just we were suppose to get it with their stares and looks to each other. Definately should have had another season or more episodes to help that out. I think the decisions they made for the show might have made more sense if it was actually laid out better or explained better in the scenes with dialog. They just rushed everything so much in this and last season expecially after the long night episode.

Some may call me a snob or whatever but I won’t ever think differently on the 5 great seasons from source material went into 3 seasons of style/visuals/shock value over substance. Even worse when there was an apparent synopsis & fate of each character leak some years ago. The studio and directors consequentially changed it all. That leak sounded SO MUCH better than what we were shown. Sigh. Regarding why they everything was squeezed into shorter last two seasons: The studio HBO wanted more 10 episode seasons BUT the show runners David Benioff & D.B. Weiss made a Star Wars deal to create a new trilogy of films so hence we got the crap (imo) they made. Subsequently in 2019, they walked away from the Star Wars deal because Netflix got them for a $200 million deal to make whatever for them 🙄 Anyway thanks for the GoT journey Mair & Sophie 💛 Best wishes & greetings from 🇨🇦
