The Hound? Who said that...I haven't finished the books.

Carrie Petty

yoooo that ending LMAOOO

Tia Hulse

There were tons of intertwined moments throughout this episode that tied in from before, leading up to this. I know you guys say it's your first time watching..... but there are some things that you guys just miss from talking etc. Overall... cool reaction. 🥳 There was only 1 Night King The White Walkers were the lieutenants Melissandre said she'd be dead before the dawn... she kept her word. She always served a purpose and we all knew that. If you really listened all the prior seasons, though she did some crazy shit...she always spoke about the dark night and the lord of light's role in the battle. So when you guys said why was she there ....was a testament to not grasping the build on this.

Worst ending, like they only picked Arya for shock value and to have a girl boss moment. Made no Sense to the story at all, like all seasons they have talked about prophecy and signs and a bunch of other stuff alluding to ice & fire should do it togethe, which makes sense. But they threw it out for girl boss moment.🤦🏽‍♀️

Gasper

Couple small notes. Arya was thought to drop the knife, catch it, and stab him because he had just recently developed that move in her training with Brianne. If you go back and watch that sequence again it hits a little harder becausw it foreshadowed that move. The other thing was that only a few of the dead were in the crypt before and they were in another sectiom locked from the kids and company. It was only after the night king raised the dead that thry were on the inside... because they sheltered in the crypt.... which was safe until the dead were awakened by the night king. Great reaction. RiP : Jorah, the queen that killed the giant, the fire guy, theon, and Sophies chair.

Don’t forget the catapults being IN FRONT of their soldiers. Or the fact that there were only a few arrows being shot at any one time at the wights when they were approaching the walls of Winterfell.

Sivan

Agree on all counts. I still tear up when their swords light up, also when Melisandre lit the trenches.

Sivan

Jon just chilling with Rheagal on the wall doing absolutely nothing will always be funny to me. Especially when he was 5ft away from trenches that needed to be lit lol. I also love how they battle plan against the freakin WW was everything they wanted to avoid against Ramsey with the whole charging first and being slaughtered. Also, kinda surprised you guys thought that the dead got into the crypts. The crypts are where the dead starks are buried and the Night King raised the dead......

Marissa

When I watched this for the first time I cried when the swords lit on fire. I thought this was the moment we’d really see something epic. I’m sure it was epic but we couldn’t see. Smh. I know we don’t deserve anything as watchers but it hurt we didn’t see Jon go man to man with the Night King. Even if Arya still killed him a head to head fight would have been nice.

All of this.

Doesn't feel like enough - Bran can anticipate the dagger and knows the King is coming for him but he spends the entire battle in one spot doing nothing else? Warging into nothing else? Not even a damn bear? Too much work to be done to have an idle, supernatural character.

BEST LONG NIGHT REACTION EVER!!!!!!

Simone Cherie

The night king didn’t want to expose himself that’s why he was away & then he took jon away from where bran was then took him & Danny away from everyone then to hit the castle bc the dragons were far away. Mean while Arya using all her skills from being blind to escape the library she was hearing where they were & smelling them & she didn’t make one sound. Her drop of blood was louder then her footsteps 🤣 that was the best part of the episode. Jon tried to sneak up on the night king he was far away & he heard him but Arya was the only one to get close enough cause he almost had her 😅🤣

#BabyGoatArya🗡️💯 Yall must didn't see all of the lighten ur screen comments. I kno ppl hav told u: What u call zombies r Whytes. Theres only 1 Knight King. He actually has a crown & the only powers. The others r White Walkers theyre Lieutenants. Y'all look away frm the screen & talk alot and none of the eps allow for that, ths one most of all. I thnk yall missed the callback to 'stickm w the pointy end', Sansa givin Tyrion a knife & the purpose Lord of Light has for everyone... more details in the lore. The saves & rescues correlate to the ep2 conversations u don't like. The conversations that round up their interactions for 9yrs. Guess one has to like talkn whn theres not supposed to be to not appreciate these types of scences or b able to recognize the importance of 8seasons of unspoken language to appreciate thm. Ths world will never bend to your will. All u can do is try to follow & comprehend. If u catch the importance of Bran giving the Catspaw Dagger to Arya, the plan to lore the King to Bran, the King can follow Bran whn hes warging, & the fact that Bran wasn't finished training u can surmise where he went & what he was doin. If the dagger attack is successful there's still a future he needs to be aware of. Rembr he can only interfere but so much. We always tell Summer Children ths show isn't for everyone but it will teach u how to watch a story. It's up to thm to use the tools and lessons given

Also go back and watch Arya training with Brienne

You guys are funny. I don’t know what kind of dialogue you were expecting from The Night King, he is dead. The Army of The Dead are dead. The Night King’s Generals are dead. They’re all death walking. What kind of talking were they gonna do? 😂…Anyway, let’s talk about what a punk bitch The Night King was. He would not fight Jon one on one cuz he knew Jon could kill him with his valerian steel sword. He saw Jon take out one of his Generals at Hardhome and wanted no part of him. That is why The Night King raised the dead to shield himself from Jon. And Arya was able to take him out with the valerian steel sword Bran gave her.

Virgogrl

Great reaction. Arya really MJ with 10 seconds left on the clock! 🤣 Folks don't like this season bc they couldn't see the undertones some characters have displayed all along. Also Samwell had no business being in the fight, shout out to lil Mormont tho 💪🏿

I had a few issues with this episode, but first I agree it was engaging and there were actual stakes in this episode which is good. 1st and largest issue, it was too dark. I understand the suspense but it was just too difficult to see. 2nd, slight annoyance, sending the Dothroki in the beginning, that was just sending them to their death for no benefit. 3rd, slight annoyance, there were times where Jon was completely surrounded, it cuts away for a while then back again and he's only got one or two next to him. It pulls me out a little 4th, I wish this was slightly different, there was so much buildup between Jon and the night king I wish he had a little more impact, even if Aria dealt the final blow. It would have been cool for Jon the last male Targarian to take down the dead dragon at least. But yes Aria is amazing! Also great reactions! Sorry about the chair though.

You might be surprised to learn that this was the lowest rated episode of the entire show when it first aired. There were a lot of story issues that people weren’t able to overlook especially upon reflection. It would be really cool if you guys did a live stream or a GoT summary/wrap up video at the end of the series to give us your overall thoughts and any opinions you might have in hindsight when looking at the entire show as a whole.

Halima

The ratings you added to these videos is a nice touch btw – gives a better idea of how you feel about the episode overall

Halima

“Someone kill that man! 🫵🏾🫵🏾” LMFAO Nah, y’all’s reaction was perfect – especially to Arya killing the Night King, the reaction was even better than I expected 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Halima

The episode is definitely entertaining - it’s good TV. GoT never stops being good TV. The complaints with the later seasons aren’t that it’s not entertaining, it’s that the story doesn’t make sense for the characters, partially because everything is so rushed in general, and partially because the writers have the characters start making stupid, out-of-character decisions just to push the plot forward at rapid speed. There are still 3 more episodes. You’ll come to your own conclusions. With this episode, there are some major issues, some of which you mentioned, like Bran’s warging being fucking pointless. For me, the way Theon died was annoying. I get that he went out a hero, but the way he charged the Night King, I mean, come on. Was he trying to die as fast as possible? The BIGGEST PROBLEM, in my opinion, was that you could barely even see what was happening 80% of the time. I also think that outside of Bran, Jon was the only one that had a “relationship” with the Night King, and it would have made more sense for him to be the one to kill him. I’m not mad at Arya doing it, but story-wise, it was kind of random. For me, Melisandre and Jorah were the best part of this particular episode. Jorah died protecting Dany, and that actually MADE SENSE for his character.

Sivan

If you remember Bran gave Arya the dagger bc he knew then it would save everyone. Brans biggest play of this episode was giving her that blade earlier lol

Gunnar

How y’all already dropped this so quick?? I can’t keep up 😭😭😭😭
