The problem with Season 8 is that they tried cramming 3 seasons worth of story into 1 season. HBO offered them more seasons after 8 but the writers thought they were getting a Star Wars movie. They didn't. So enjoy what little of the final season is enjoyable.

Robert didn't lie....this was the story that was told after Lyanna went missing and the war was started because of it. Sophie....Lyanna didn't cheat...she was never married to Robert Baratheon. He was betrothed to her but not sure if they were ever committed before she ran off. Prince Rhaegar loved her and the tales were being told since Season 1 and 2....hence why we say, every story connects.

She’s still playing The Game Of Thrones even though they brought the dead directly to her. Everyone except Jon has played The Game Of Thrones. That is why he will not lie. He does not care about which Queen or King sits on The Iron Throne. His mission, his purpose is to get as many people as possible to help him in the fight against The Night King and The Army Of The Dead…And we all must give it up to Ned Stark. He knew who Jon really was. He knew his nephew had the blood of Kings but he also knew he had Stark blood. He knew Rhaegar never raped his sister and he knew Jon was a King. Ned kept him safe from Robert who wanted all The Targaryens dead cuz he couldn’t deal with the fact that although Lyanna was promised to him she didn’t love him. Lyanna fell in love with Rhaegar. Robert Baratheon started The Rebellion.

Even though people generally dislike season 7 and 8, as you can see there’s still a lot of exciting moments to experience in both seasons so I hope you guys keep an open mind like you did this season and season 6 :)

2023-07-28 20:55:42 +0000 UTCI always wondered if there were more people who knew that Lyanna and Rhaegar actually loved each other. We know that Robert had a massive ego, Lyanna choosing Rhaegar over him would’ve been a tough pill to a swallow. It’s possible that Rhaegar told him when they faced each other and Robert killed him anyway. Maybe Ned’s father knew of Lyanna’s interest in Rhaegar but refused to entertain such a thing as Rhaegar was married and Lyanna was promised to Robert so he never told anyone before he was killed. We don’t actually know much of that story which is why I would still love a GoT spin off based on Robert’s Rebellion.
