Compare good writing: season 4 Oberyn does something stupid and pays the price. That was character motivated. No one was surprised by his antics. He had reasons. A personality. It was wonderfully executed. To bad writing: why did Hound throw that rock? What the hell was John doing and why? Why did he turn around and fight again? The whole episode the whytes stood around cause they couldn’t go in the water, how did they go in the water to put chains on the dragon? Where did the chains cone from? Why are they getting a zombie for cersi when cersi has her own personal zombie? Why can’t Dany just ride drogon into KL and pluck out Cersei and her minions, take KL and command the seven kingdoms to prepare for war with the white walkers? She already agreed to the scooby do plan of capturing a whyte so she must have already decided to help john and cersei was in her way. The levels of stupid are beyond.

And the red wedding is sort of the hard reality of game of thrones (and life), that there not always is a happy ending. It does not have anything to do with actual winter.

2023-07-28 18:33:52 +0000 UTCDo you remember how white walkers get made? Crasters baby boys get turned into them. Craster at one point said, he got 99 sons to Geor Mormont. That should tell you about how much there are left. That is also the reason they look so much alike since, besides the night king, they are all brothers. I think they really are not great fighters, because they usually don't need to be, since their weapons cut through anything and their enemies weapons shatter when they touch the white walkes, except Valyrian steel and dragon glass.

2023-07-28 13:09:47 +0000 UTCwhat's the only way the walkers can get past the wall... as said before by benjen, only vway he can pass is if it comes down... and season eight isn't that bad, some insane epic shit goes down... just look as the last episode as wrapping up characters and moving towards peace again.
