Most come to love her. the lord of light doesn’t confuse anyone. Like most things of spirit are misunderstood and misinterpreted. Melisandre doesn’t do for her own power. She does for human kind.Dondarion and Thanos, are very clear about their mission and have not been sidelined by the wrong king.

I think he's more of a devil than a god. I believe the Red woman really wants to help destroy the white walkers by assisting the man prophesized to defeat them. She thought that man was Stannis.

So yea...they were not the ones who left after he died. Melisandre is a witch as you guessed and to be fair ...she's about 400 years old.

Even though before..... you guys said she was obsessed with following Sansa and Littlefinger all around - when Brienne knew she'd eventually be on danger. Bet you appreciate her now. 🙄🫣🙃 🤣
