The payoff for being invested in this series is amazing. Mostly because no matter how absurd it gets they somehow ground it and by being meta they get to make fun of it at the same time. The more you spend picking apart the episode the more you realize that the foundation only gets stronger. Like a knot that gets tighter the harder you pull on it.
