Enjoyed your reaction immensely. As an 11 year old in the late 80’s in Zimbabwe🇿🇼, I too was so invested in the love triangle and so disappointed/shocked at the reveal. I was sick at home from school and my sisters had rented the movies for me from the video club. I had absolutely no clue on Star Wars lore and was enthralled from minute one of episode 4. Oblivious, I even remember asking the video club where were episodes 1,2 & 3 not knowing that they were not even made yet and the video club looked at me blankly with no answer. Return of The Jedi is my favourite of all the Star Wars Movies…no matter how many times I’ve watched it I still tear up at the fight scene between Vader & Luke - the music gets me each time. I tear up again at the death 💔 and again with the Force ghosts ending.😢 I hope you enjoy ep 1,2 & 3 and then watch the excellent & possibly favourite amongst many - the filler movie Rogue One - beautiful movie ♥️ Look forward to your journey & reactions. Sorry about the smoke from us (though I’m on the westcoast of 🇨🇦) - it’s going to be a gruesome summer 😔
