Ok time for a story about Prince Oberyn Martell and why he’s so mad at the Lannisters. Let’s go back to Robert’s Rebellion. Robert killed Rhaegar and so that solidified that he had won the war. His eyes were set on the Capitol (King’s Landing) now. Tywin had stayed out of the war. He wanted to see which side would win. When Robert killed Rhaegar, Tywin took his fresh troops and marched on King’s Landing. He beat Robert to King’s Landing and Tywin sacked the city. The Mountain and his cronies scaled the castle walls and climbed into Princess Elia Martel’s rooms. Princess Elia and Prince Oberyn were very close. Not as close as Jaime and Cersei. But more of an Arya and Jon relationship. They would pull pranks and tell secrets and make fart jokes together. Elia was Oberyn’s little sister. Let’s go back to waaayyy before the war. When they were preteens Elia was supposed to marry Jaime and Oberyn was supposed to marry Cersei. The betrothal didn’t go through. Tywin wanted Cersei to be queen. He said no the Martells. He wants Cersei to marry Rhaegar. The mad king wanted to beef with Tywin. The mad king was jealous of Tywin (he was hand of the king at the time) and was paranoid that he was plotting against him. He wanted to put Tywin in his place so he told Tywin that Cersei is the daughter of the help. Cersei is not fit to marry Rhaegar. He said Rhaegar needed a princess. The only princess in Westeros is Princess Elia Martell (who Tywin snubbed!). See, the Martells are the only ones who got to keep their Prince and princess titles. Aegon the Conquerer was never able to conquer Dorne. They have blood from princess Nymeria who had ancient magical blood from the Rhoynar. So instead of referring to the Martells as Lord and Lady, the have the titles of Prince and Princess. Princess Elia and Rhaegar married and had two kids (Rhaenys and Aegon). From all the tales and gossip they had a good marriage. They had a daughter Rhaenys who was 3 years old.She was a daddy’s girl. When the Mountain and his men attacked, she ran and hid under her daddy’s bed probably hoping he would come and save her. Instead she was dragged from under the bed and stabbed FIFTY TIMES! they stabbed a 3 year old 50 times. Next was baby Aegon, he wasn’t even one years old. The Mountain grabbed him from Princess Elia’s breast by the foot and dashed his head against the wall. The Mountain had the blood and brains of baby Aegon on him as he raped Princess Elia. After raping her, he nearly split her in two with his sword. This is why Oberyn Martell is mad. As far as tactics and political intrigue, Tywin having those babies killed was a good move. It showed loyalty to Robert because he had to prove himself since he came so late to the game. After Rhaegar’s death it was implied that Robert could not sit comfortably on the throne while Rhaegar’s two heirs lived. Tywin did the dirty work for Robert. Robert didn’t have to personally bloody his hands. The kids were so mangled and bloodied, no one could look at their bodies. Tywin wrapped the children in Lannister red so you didn’t notice ALL the blood. And he laid the dead children at Robert’s feel. Robert nodded in approval. Tywin HATED being embarrassed. I think he had Elia Martell killed because he was still salty that Elia was picked over Cersei to be Rhaegar’s wife. Tywin would win by putting Cersei on throne as Robert’s queen and having Princess Elia killed. That’s why Oberyn is mad.

You could do season 3 and 4 now in one video without spoiling anything, just don't feel you have to click on every single entry. More info about Dorne and Bravos would be great right now for everyone.

Ser Meryn wasn't lying guys.... he just used the details of what happened with Tyrion and Joffrey at the worst time....just like Varys did. Tyrion did slap Joffrey several times. Even at Winterfell. 3. Pronunciation time..... SER DAH-VOSE Lord TI-REE-ON DAH-NEER-RIS 4. Shae definitely is a woman scorned. She appeared at the right time for revenge. 5. You're right...Jamie told Tyrion, no more outbursts.... Tyrion pushed it further than what it was. More to come! Good job so far. Continue to pay attention.
