As before, I’m here a year late, so I’m sure you’ve done your research. So I’ll just say that when I was reading book 3, back in the day (the film had not yet released) I was so compelled, I would bring the book to my holidays with my parents, hiking with the book in my back pack just to read while we rested. Remember my mom saying : “ Put down that book and enjoy what is around you, jeez!” But all i could repeat during that summer was “why mom, why did Frodo leave? Whyyyyy?” You can get everything you need to know on the Silmarillion, btw. If you are ever up to reading one of the books, I’d go there, straight. I’m so glad again, I found you guys! You are the best out there, and I usually only change to look for films im interested in rewatching. But this is the REAL channel. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 much loveee

2023-04-25 21:13:07 +0000 UTCI knew the ending would get you guys. I still cry after 20 years. Frodo truly is a hero. He basically sacrificed his life by carrying the ring. The physical and mental trauma affected him even after the ring was destroyed so he had to leave. His wound never healed and the Shire wasn’t the same for him after returning.
