2024-02-02 05:33:43 +0000 UTCI feel like Walt cares about Jesse’s feelings, but he’s shown over and over that when it came down to it, he cared more about his drug empire. He put Jesse through to protect it. Mike could see right through it. Walt even subtly threatened Jesse, warning him not to get too big for his britches, reminding him of what happened to Victor. When I try to put myself in Hank’s place, I get this- I’ve devoted my whole life to putting away drug dealers, bc I’ve witnessed first hand the horrors of drugs- addiction, deaths, murders, sometimes innocent victims. My brother in law has pretended to be my family, got me to care about him, help him through cancer, offer to take care of his family if he dies. All the while, he’s been using me for info and throwing me off course. I came extremely close to dying at least 3 times bc of my relationship with him, all the pain I went through having to relearn to walk. He risked my life, my entire career, and the lives of my wife, her sister, and my nephew, so he could do the very thing that I’ve sworn my to fight against. I can’t believe a word he says, and nothing he says would change any of this. This isn’t my family, this is my enemy.
