Also, glad you guys didn't automatically assume that the resurrection stone would bring Harry back to life, like everyone else seems to. It only brings back a shadow of your loved ones, not the real thing. It was left to Harry so that he would have the strength to go on and face death knowing his loved ones were with him. One final super cool easter egg: the tale of the three brothers (tale of the deathly hallows) is a reflection of Harry, Snape, and Voldemort.) The Wand brother died for power (Voldemort), the stone brother died for love (Snape), and the invisibility cloak brother, in the end, "greeted death as an old friend," (Harry.) This also plays into so many people telling Harry he and voldemort were similar-because they are. Both orphans, both abandoned boys who found their only true home at Hogwarts. The difference being that Harry chose life, love, and friendship, whereas Voldemort only ever wanted magic, power, and immortality. Voldemort dies "mundanely" in the book, falling over onto the floor like a normal man would. For all his efforts to live forever, he died just like anyone else would.

The most beautiful ending to one of the greatest stories ever told. So, Narcissa (Draco's mom) as well as Lucius(Draco's dad) never really cared that much about the second Wizarding War. They only joined Voldemort out of fear and also familial ties (Narcissa and Bellatrix are sisters). When Narcissa went to Harry's body, she saw that he was alive; she then asked him (Harry) if Draco was alive, and Harry almost imperceptibly nodded. Narcissa then lied to Voldemort, saying that Harry was dead. Secondly, Lily's protection did in fact save Harry, not just the Horcrux. It's terribly explained in the films, but in the books it is explained that love is a magic that goes far deeper than the magic that wizards can do. That sacrificing yourself for someone else is the strongest kind of magic that exists. So, when Harry's mom gave up her life to save her son, it created a powerful Charm that rebounded Voldemort's spell, killing him the first time when Harry was a baby. That charm then lived on in Harry's blood, and when Voldemort came back to life in Goblet of Fire, he used Harry's blood to do so. BIG mistake on Voldemort's part. By doing so he took in a part of Lily's sacrifice, tethering Harry to life for as long as Voldemort himself was alive. This is why Harry was allowed to return from the dead even after being hit by the killing curse and having the horcrux within him destroyed. In short, Harry was saved twice by a mother's love: the first time by Lily, the second time by Narcissa (and as a result of Harry's own mercy towards Draco.) The Elder Wand was part of it too, being that it would not kill Harry as he was it's true master. (takes disarming, not killing, to win the Wand.) Finally, by allowing himself to be killed, Harry conjured the same protection for all of the good guys in Hogwarts that his mother had for him all those years ago. After he does this, no one else in Hogwarts dies except for the villains. The final showdown between Harry and Voldemort, while cinematically awesome in the movies, is better in the books. Harry and Voldemort face off in the great hall with everyone left alive watching them, and Harry explains to Voldemort (roasts him, in fact) that he (Harry) is the true master of death, and that his love for the people around him is what did the trick in the end. Voldemort is defeated because of the one type of magic he just doesn't understand: love. Sorry for the short novel here, just a big fan.

In every movie snape was always there to save harry at the right time always making sure he was ok but lecturing him when he would mess up like a good father figure on the other hand dumbledore always came at the end of every conflict and told harry what he wanted to hear because he honestly didnt care for harry and he just wanted voldemort dead. Snape risked his life in every movie even when harry attacked him during the prisoner of azkaban he was still on his side
