Doc Update, Emomo live, Miscast live, my finger, japan... other stuff

Just watched the second doc episode ! Nice work, as usual ! Loved seeing Hanako-san again ! Glad you finally got your pinky checked out. Last winter, I fell coming down my front steps, and landed on my right foot. Never went to the doctor. Seems to be okay, but I thought I broke it at first. I love Enma, she would be fun to meet ! Hey Derek, good you finally got your pinky checked. Hope it heals faster than without going to the hospital. For the documentary. It´s a pity the editing costs got higher because there is so much unfinished work left... (Do you really have to pay the old editor full if you haven´t recieved what you paid for? I don´t wanna bash him but somehow what you pay and what you get doesn´t match.. and not to your advantage...) Anyway.. I saw Episode two today and it was even better tan the first one. The behind the scenes work shown is awesome. Music writing, editing, costume design, the tension before running on stage. Great build together in one big episode. And Hanakos Portrait has been awesome too. I really hope she gets more attention from fans overseas. She is so delightfully exceptional. I could easy imagine her on a death metal stage in Wacken. She would deserve it. Bringing out the episodes on a weekly basis right now would work out. I feels like watching a weekly series. But if the episodes are online at once i would watch them at once as well. I don´t think you should have to be concern about the popularity. When the real promoting starts it will go it´s way. Remember the Leisure Suit Larry Games? When the first one came out it sold not many copies at the first month. Maybe 10 % of an average Kings Quest. But the magic happened slowly. Because it sold the same small ammount for over 18 Months in a row. Word of mouth made it popular. And after 18 Months it surpressed the sales of the last Kings Quest title which sold strong in the first two months but weak afterwards. I am optimistic, we weill see the same phenomenon on your doc as well. The doc is timeless and very easy to watch. You know storytelling. And it will gain interest for longer and pay out in the end. But since we are already talking about retro games… :-P My all time favourite is Street Fighter II. My brother my friends back then and me played it for hours when we all met. Everyone was a pro after some weeks and we had fun tournaments each month. The Winner was „The Grandmaster“ and the loser was „Bambi of the Month“. I remeber how the game rewarded you if you played on harder levels. From Level 4 you got the characters Ending, Form Level 6 you got a movie credit like ending and on hardest level you got a special artwork. Have you played it too? Which was your favourite character. Mine were Ryo and Chun Li. Tomorrow will the big icolony concerts of Emomomo7 (might get sad because of Minases Graduation) , Bakashinu, Aphrodite. Also Cherie Girls Project and Paradise Kiss will play there. Haven´t heard much of them yet but the costumes and the band image look interesting. Hope you have a good weekend and a successful week.
