Amazonian Mist Update #5 - Progress Report

How have things been going:
Progress has been steady, most of the month has been spent on the climax (07 cave) portion and getting final voicelines for Act 1.
Other than that it's been a quiet month with no issues.

I've decided to make a chart to help visualise the actual project.
It can be hard to give an idea of what's being worked on so hopefully this chart is useful.
This is the progress since the end of January

Project Overall is an estimate of current completion.
When a bar reaches 75, the scene will be in the polishing phase.
Once the bars hit 100, the scene will be ready to render.

*Epilogue is at 0 as it will be the last thing to be animated.
*Herbalist is at 0 as the VA involved took additional time.

Climax (Cave Scene):
There will be a small exploration scene where our heroine navigates an underground tunnel system but will come across creatures abandoned by the Amazons.
I'm still deciding how much exploration there will be for the climax as the climax is planned to be atleast 10 minutes excluding the exploration portion.

The main question is how much violence is too much for you guys?
During Sacred Beasts I was made aware blood is a turn off for some, I don't plan to break limbs but want to add a sense of real danger. Thoughts?

What’s Next:
The good news is that every single shot for both Act 1 & 2 (excluding epilogue) has been planned out, the only thing that I need to focus on is the animation.
There are still retakes and Act 2 voicelines needed but for now I just want to focus on animation as I'm kinda tired of VA work.

Most of the animation will not have loops, I want the animation to feel more organic and unique. The trickest part about W.I.Ps is that I do not want to spoil too much but feel free to let me know which scenes you'd like to see more of.

The plan for May will be to focus on the Herbalist scene, it's the last heavy dialogue scene for Act One.
So far I'm pleased with how everything is turning out.
