Redraw: 2018 vs 2020

Sometimes I like to check archived posts on my main accounts on Instagram, and it’s a little bittersweet feeling.

I used to be able to draw everyday and I always had ideas to do new doodles, in addition, I had a huge luck with Instagram from December to February, like a boom, but I haven’t progressed at all in the rest of 2019 and now, I notice we are already in August 2020! It’s so stressful!

But in the other hand I find interesting to see how the art has evolved. I’ve practice a lot and drawing hundreds of illustrations and that makes me happy. This drawing from the end of 2018 was one of my favorite ones back then! And since I feel a bit artblocked, I was wondering how I could draw it again.

I spent more time into details in 2018, and I feel lazy now, but maybe those details were more like “noise”in the composition, I don’t know! What do you think?

I recorded the screen while I was doing it, so I will edit the video and I will add some voice talking about how I felt doing it! September will be a really busy and difficult month for me so I would like to be preparing the rewards for it little by little☺️
