LUMINOVA & PLUMFRUIT MOD UPDATES + NEWS

Hey friends!

I'm releasing two mod updates today, for Plumfruit Essentials (1.2) and Luminova (1.8)! I also have some news with the latest patch update and World Edit 3 development! Let's get started!

NEW PATCH UPDATE

There's a new patch update for The Sims 4 that was released last week, and all my current mods are compatible with the latest version 1.118.242.1230, YAY!! ✅ If you find any issue, please report them using the NEW BUG REPORTS FORM, thanks to all those who report issues to help the whole community :)

INSTALLING MODS - BEST PRACTICES

Some players have been experiencing issues opening their game when installing mods, one of the common issues is due to the use of unmerged folders of mods that haven't been unzipped! Please make sure that you only put either the .package file OR the unmerged folder UNZIPPED in your /Mods folder to install a mod.

It's also possible that you find a couple files inside a zipped UNMERGED mod folder if you're on Windows "__MACOSX/" and "/.DS_Store". You can delete these files on Windows, they appear because I work on Apple MacOS and any zipped folder automatically has these files for mac users.

Also, please make sure that any script mod (like CheatsMaster for example) is not installed in a sub-folder in your /Mods folder! The sims team has disabled support for script mods in sub-folders a few years ago, it used to be possible but now a script mod should never be deeper than one folder in your /Mods folder, otherwise the mod won't work. Let me know if this helps for those who had troubles installing and using a script mod!

LUMINOVA - UPDATE 1.8

There's a new update for my Luminova Mod! It fixes a few issues, adds cross-compatibility to FutureFruit that was just released, and adds all sizes for Privacy Translucent Curtains (S, M and L heights)! Here's the changelog:

• Added cross-compatibility with my new FutureFruit mod kit, with several of the widgets' features now available on the Smart Home Control Pannel and Luminova Smart Hub.

• Added all sizes for Privacy Translucent Curtains, (Small, Medium, and Tall Heights)

• Privacy Translucent Curtains will no longer automatically open and close on a timed schedule, for 24/7 privacy!

• Fixed a bug that would make sims dance when chatting with Neo across both Luminova and Plumfruit Essentials, with improved cross-comptaibility between the two mods!

• Fixed the Better Exceptions conflict with SimSelf Plus, for the Ustensils category.

• Fixed an issue that could prevent the Smart TV to connect with game consoles.

  +UNMERGED version now available to download! Make sure to unzip first if you choose this option!

  +Other minor improvements

Plumfruit Essentials - UPDATE 1.2

There's also a new update coming today for Plumfruit Essentials Mod Kit! It features a few bug fixes, new minor additions, and cross compatibility with FutureFruit too! Here's the changelog:

• Fixed a bug that would make sims dance after asking Neo a question

• Imrpoved referencing and cross-compatibility with my other mods (it should stop mod conflict reports from Better Exceptions)

• Added new Computer Categories icons: Mentoring and Small Business, in the style of other apps!

• I split the Phone UI Apps from the Phone Override package files (for the UNMERGED folder version) for those who wanted them seperate! :)

• Improved compatibility with FutureFruit 1.0 and Luminova 1.8.

• New Travel App Icon, in the style of my SimSelf Plus mod, for the Ui Phone Apps

• Added 5 new wallpapers for the iPlum Air and PlumBook Air computers, in the style of FutureFruit!

• Fixed an issue that could prevent the Plumfruit Smart TV to connect with game consoles

• Other minor improvements

World Edit 3 - Development in Progress

After working in August on FutureFruit, I have now resumed development of World Edit 3! Thanks to the Patreon Exclusive Poll Survey about Interactive Buildings, I'm now creating the top picks. You'll be able to place these new interactive buildings in any world thanks to World Edit 3, and go there and interract with them... like the Stadium Arena for example!

I'm currently in the process of creating an Interactive Stadium Arena building, where your sims will be able to go to a concert (Lady Gogo and Arniana Petite will be featured), a sports event (football, basketball, baseball games!), an All Star Drag Show with fireworks, or even just to visit the building or use its amenities!

Some of the top picks from the Interactive Building poll survey include: a Grocery Store, Cinema Movie Theatre, Shopping Mall, Airport, Stadium Arena, and Health Clinic!

I can't wait to show you what I've been cooking for World Edit 3, it's going to be a big mod pack, and I'm looking forward to share more about it in October. I still have tons of work ahead, wish me luck!
