I’m excited to announce and release a new mod kit today, from the Plumfruit Collection!

Welcome to the Future... Say hello to FutureFruit!

After exploring the past of the Plumfruit brand with RetroFruit a few months ago, I’m now looking at its future! This new mod kit features 14 new futuristic items your sims could ever dream of… Let’s see what’s included!

💻 4 New Computers

• The PlumOne: an elegant super-widescreen desktop computer with rounded corners and a touchscreen keyboard/trackpad. Perfect for gamers, creatives, and everyday tasks! It features 13 colourful wallpapers with its bright always-on display! (Works best with Plumfruit Essentials installed)

• The PlumPortal: with the same design language, this computer features a perfectly circular screen with a gradient light surrounding it, reminding of a portal!

• FutureBook Laptop: this new portable computer has a bendable PlumOLED screen coming straight from the future! It goes all the way down to the touchscreen keyboard with a touchbar! I know some sims will definitely love to show off their new device everywhere they go 🤭

• PlumDesk Screen: This is not a computer, it’s a machine from the future… Use with the Plumfruit SmartDesk to get the best-looking futuristic computer ever! It slots on the edge of the SmartDesk, and features the same beautiful wallpapers so you can match them and have the most luxurious workstation in SimNation!

📱A new tablet, the FuturePad!

This new device is the successor of the PlumPad that appeared in Plumfruit Essentials. It comes with a brand-new WaterGlass screen, wrapping around the corners and giving a one-of-a-kind look!

🖥️ The one and only… Plumfruit SmartDesk!

This item was one of my favourites to create and design. It’s something I’ve dreamed of when I was younger… Say hello to the Plumfruit SmartDesk! It’s the most futuristic desk-computer ever created by the brand! With a wrap-around PlumOLED touchscreen, it features apps like Music, Newspaper, Neo, Luminova, and more! It’s the perfect companion with the PlumDesk Screen, so you can listen to your favourite playlists while gaming!

🪞PlumMirror is making a comeback!

There was already a smart mirror in a previous version of my Plumfruit mod pack, but this one reinvents smart mirrors! Listen to some music while brushing your teeth, ask questions to your favourite virtual assistant Neo, control your smart home with Luminova, and more!

It’s also featuring overhauled mirror interactions with the same design language I’ve been using for my other projects, so all mirrors in your home are easier to use! (Some features only appear if you have Luminova and Plumfruit Essentials installed, but it works just fine as a standalone device. Mirror Interactions overhaul has been separated into a different file so players who use the unmerged mod files can control if they want it installed or not!)

🖼️ 6 New FutureWall Widgets!

This mod kit features brand new devices that I wish I could have in my home! Little square OLED touchscreens on the wall, with unique functions for each!

• 🎵 Music Widget: replace your old and bulky stereo devices with this FutureWall Music Widget! It features a gorgeous PlumMusic UI reminiscent of record players, and has exceptional sound quality! (4 different UI swatches available)

• 📷 Photos Widgets (Landscape and Portrait): display your memories with style! Use this widget to import photos from your inventory and arrange them into a photo-wall with landscapes and familiar faces.

• 🗓️ Calendar Widget: use this one to plan social events, weddings, and funerals, or even take a vacation with friends and families. Planning an event has never looked so aesthetic!

• 📰 Newspaper Widget: This animated widget features the homepage of the iconic newspaper: SimTimes! Check recent neighbourhood stories, read news about what’s currently happening in SimNation, or ask about news… from the future! What will the world look like tomorrow? Just ask!

• ⏰ Clock Widget: Works like all clocks do… It allows you to put on an alarm so you don’t oversleep and be late for work (again!). It’s also featuring 4 different Ui swatches, so you can decorate your home with a stylish functional clock!

• 🌤️Weather Widget (Requires Season EP): In the future, Sims will be able to control the weather over their house… and that’s what this widget does! Control the weather and summon the sun (or snow!) for a few hours, you can also quickly cheat your way into another season. Well it’s no time travel, but maybe getting close!

All the widgets with their different Ui swatches. If you really like these little devices, I might create more in the future!

⚙️ Mod Compatibility

All of these items are standalone and don’t require another mod or pack, but I recommend using FutureFruit combined with Plumfruit Essentials and Luminova, to unlock some features (like Neo, Smart Home Control, etc.) and also get the overhauled interaction categories on the computer or tablet, for example.

How to Install

• Download the package file attached down below: "Arnie_FutureFruit_1.0.package"

  • *or* the Arnie_FutureFruit_1.0.zip folder for those who want the unmerged version with separated items. (Don't forget to unzip the folder first! And install only one of these two options! For experienced mod users only)

• Put it in your Mods folder (and enable mods in the game's settings)

• Enjoy :) You can find the items by searching for "FutureFruit" or "Arnie" in the build/buy searchbar, or you can find them in the electronics build/buy category!

That’s it for this new mod kit friends! I hope you enjoy these new futuristic devices exploring the future of the Plumfruit brand and lore. I had lots of fun creating these and it was such a nice creative break from World Edit 3, to which I just resumed development!
