Plumfruit is BACK!

Today, I’m so excited to introduce the Plumfruit Collection!

The Plumfruit Collection is a set of mods and mod kits all about the fruitiest tech company in the world! It's a collection of standalone mods, fully independent from what I’ve created before, while complementing each other! I’m going back to the begining with this brand, and I'm creating everything from scratch: new themes, new items, new design language, new features, new code… everything’s been reimagined from the ground up!

And it all begins today with the announcement of two new mod kits, and the release of a small mod. Let’s get into it! 👇

Plumfruit Essentials

Say hello to Plumfruit Essentials, a brand new mod kit featuring some of your favourite Plumfruit device types: phone, tablets, computers, and more! This mod kit is kind of a reimagining of Plumfruit Lite, a mod kit with more simple items I released just before I stepped away from Sims modding three years ago. But everything here is brand new: simpler code, better stability, and better design than ever before!

What’s included?

📱 PlumPhone Air – A stylish new phone replacement with a custom animated screen and PlumfruitOS visuals. For now, it’s available in one swatch: Titanium, and this is just the first of a new generation of Plumfruit phones. There are also new app icons I designed for your UI Phone, that match the interactions and categories!

💻 PlumPad Air & PlumPad Mini – These elegant tablets come with a completely overhauled interaction menu, now sorted into apps with all-new icons for easier accessibility, similar to what I’ve done with CheatsMaster and Luminova. These icons will be shared across all Plumfruit devices (and the next Luminova update too!)

🖥️ iPlum Air & PlumBook Air – A futuristic all-in-one desktop and a sleek laptop companion. Both come with 15 beautiful wallpapers, a minimalist black-screen swatch, and new apps like Mail, Web Explorer, Notes, and more.

🔊 PlumPod Max & PlumPod Mini – These are for all the music lovers out there! Great sound quality, colourful swatches, animated screens, smart home features (compatible with Luminova), and access to Plumfruit’s virtual assistant, Neo.

🎧 PlumBuds – A stylish replacement for the AirBuds (from the Fitness Stuff Pack – required for them to show up). With an overhauled menu and custom icons for a smoother, more modern feel.

📸 PlumCam Future – A high-end camera with three lenses and a massive touchscreen at the back. It works just like the in-game HD cameras, but with an updated futuristic design (perfect to take pictures to store on Retrofruit storage units!)

📺 PlumTV – Running PlumfruitOS (just like the Luminova Smart TV), this new TV features rounded corners, a selection of new screensavers, and sleek modern lines.

There's a one week early access only for this mod kit! I didn’t want to do a full 2–3 week early access with this one, since it’s kind of reviving a mod I’ve created before, even though every item is completely new. Retrofruit

The star of the show during the keynote was (for me) the brand new Retrofruit mod kit!

It’s been such a long time since I wanted to explore the lore and nostalgia of the Plumfruit Inc. company, and I’m so happy to finally present this pack today. Retrofruit is an hommage to vintage tech, featuring fictional devices from the 90's and early 2000's, but also an anachronistic invention I created: the landline smart telephone! This pack is full of nostalgia, warm tones, and retro-futuristic design… let’s take a look at what’s included!

🖥️ iPlum Classic - The OG Plumfruit computer, that allowed your sims to play Sims Forever in 1995, or maybe explore some of the very first internet websites and forums! It also features the redesigned and re-organised interactions menu and categories!

🖥️ iPlum 2000 - A slightly more recent model that would’ve launched in the early 2000s. The iPlum 2000 features a unique all-in-one base with a screen mounted on a metallic arm, revolutionary at the time! It brings back those memories of brushed aluminium, coloured plastics, and a design that felt like it came straight from the future at the time!

🎵 The miniPod Station - The iconic miniPod was the most famous music portable device back in the days, allowing you to carry an entire library of albums and singles in your pocket! Today, Retrofruit brings back the miniPod with its very high-end dock station, made out of metal and wood, with exceptional sound quality and a new Music app, gathering your favourite music stations and commands! The miniPod even has an animated screen!

☎️ The RetroPhone - This is a fully functional landline smart telephone! The RetroPhone was ahead of its time when it came out, with Home Security features, clock alarms, an animated touch screen, and the ability to order services, call the emergencies, or just call your friends to chat! This device brings the charm of landlines back into your Sims’ homes. Just a tip though: don’t walk too far away during a call or you’ll get disconnected! And bonus: it’s cross-compatible with my CheatsMaster mod, and using shift+click on it will reveal the cheats menu! 

🖨️ Functional Printer - The Retrofruit Printer lets your Sims print documents they’ve written themselves, great for journal entries, love letters, family memories, or even writing stories. You can save the printed documents in your storage devices, maybe on a floppy disk for example?

💾 Functional Storage – You need to sort and store your memories, photos, documents? Say no more! Retrofruit has got you covered, because this pack features not only functional floppy disks, but also CD-ROMs and USB flash drives! You can rename the storage unit, let’s say “Summer 95 Memories” for example, and add your memories in its inventory, like photos from your Selvadorada holiday, and maybe journal pages where your Sim wrote a poem about a love interest they met by the river… it’s all up to your imagination!

📷 PlumCam Vintage

The ancestor of the PlumCam Future, this retro camera lets your Sims snap beautiful nostalgic photos. With its vintage design, it’s the perfect tool for memory-making, and of course, the images can be stored on your CD-ROMs, USBs or floppy disks!

🪑 Plumfruit Pro Desk

A stunning addition to your build/buy catalogue, the Plumfruit Pro Desk is made from sustainable Granite Falls wood, and offers a perfect mix of retro aesthetics and modern practicality. It has many slots to display, store, and organise all your Retrofruit (and Plumfruit!) devices in one clean and elegant setup.

The Future of the Plumfruit Collection

These new Plumfruit releases are a part of my ongoing effort to revive my old mods. It was probably the most requested comeback, since I cam back to the community, I’ve received tons of messages asking for the brand to return over the past few months... and it felt really good to bring it back by starting completely from scratch and designing new items that feel more in line with today’s design-language, and trying to make it look much better thanks to the skills I’ve worked on over the past four years, since the original Plumfruit mod first came out!

Plumfruit Essentials and Retrofruit are just the first releases of the Plumfruit Collection, the Plumfruit universe will expand in the future with new mods and mod kits, and Patreon members will be able to help shape it! 

Soon, I’ll post a survey for members so you can vote on what you’d like to see next in the collection. For example, there could be a PlumPhone Pro mod featuring various social media platforms and brand new apps, plus the return of the Simstagram app, or maybe a new mod kit to create your own Plumfruit Store, a retail business using the latest EP, where your Sims could shop for their favourite tech devices… or even work there? Or perhaps a small mod to enhance the look of certain UI elements (see the PlumCamera UI Replacement mod down below!🤭)

If you have ideas of themes or features you’d love to see in the Plumfruit universe, feel free to share them in the comments below! I can’t guarantee it will all come to life, but I do know one thing: the brand will continue to expand and grow.

I’m also making sure that all of these are standalone mods, completely independent from one another and from anything I’ve created before. This way, everything stays compatible, even for those of you who prefered to keep my original Plumfruit mod pack in your Mods folder (even though many items may no longer function…) But that also allows me to leave room for a potential update of the original Plumfruit mod by MizoreYukii, who was still working on it last time we spoke. I’m not sure exactly when, if, or how she plans to release it, but please show her some love either way, she’s an incredible creator and has always supported and helped the modding community!

So for now, it’s fine if you don’t want to remove the older Plumfruit content from your Mods folder if you know what you are doing… although I do not recommend!

🛜 Luminova Integration

You already know this if you watched the Luminova Trailer, I’m making Plumfruit and Luminova cross-compatible!

A new update for Luminova will be released soon, bringing integration with both the Plumfruit Essentials and Retrofruit mod kits.

For example, the RetroPhone’s Home Security and Clock Alarm features will be added to the Luminova Smart Home Panel and Hubs, some re-designed app icons will be added, and you’ll be able to control Luminova Smart devices & appliances directly from the PlumPod Max and PlumPod Mini! Stay tuned for this update! 🛠️

📸 PlumCamera UI – Small Mod Release

Today, I’m re-releasing the PlumfruitOS inspired UI for the in-game camera as a standalone mod, which is now part of the Plumfruit Collection!

This was originally part of my Plumfruit Lite mod kit, and it overrides the look of the in-game camera UI to make it feel more like a real Plumfruit product, sleek, modern, and minimal. I'm making it a standalone mod in case it needs updating on its own, but also because it could expand with other UI replacements over-time, I'm not too sure yet!
