I have another little surprise for you this week - my Magical Winterfest Mod Kit is BACK! ❄️ Today, it’s getting a 2.0 update with a fresh new look!

Little reminder: This is one more step in my ongoing effort to refresh and improve my mods since my return to The Sims 4. Updating these mods has been an important part of my journey back. It’s taking more time than I initially imagined, so thank you for your patience while I work on them! Now, let’s dive into this new release!

This mod kit has been given a refresh and is now updated to its 2.0 version. Let’s take a look together at what’s new and how it works!

What is Magical Winterfest?

Magical Winterfest is a Mod Kit I created a few years ago to celebrate the holidays! It features a new Holiday Tree you can decorate yourself, toys inspired by the famous building blocks brand Ligoo, and beautiful holiday-themed decorative items.

Create your own tree and decorate it yourself!

Purchase the Magical Winterfest Holiday Tree from the catalog, choose from 3 swatches, and then add the decorations yourself! The new star is perfect for the top, and the glittering decorations shine beautifully in the dark. You can even choose their lighting color! there's also an animated miniature train and a snowy rug to elevate your Holiday Tree's look. Simply place the decorations from the build/buy catalog anywhere on the tree to create your perfect holiday centerpiece. 🎄✨

Build your own Ligoo Creations, and let your sims play with them!

Let your creativity shine with Ligoo! The mod includes two base plates (small and large), each with new color swatches to match your style. Use these as a foundation to build your own unique Ligoo creations with the included Ligoo Blocks! Stack, combine, and design to imaginative play. 🧱✨

Your Ligoo construction is like a dollhouse, with the blocks and Ligoo character toys ready for your kid Sims to play with!

You can even put ligoo pieces (and small builds) as decorations in the Holiday Tree for a fun look!

What's new in this update?

Several items and features have been refreshed, from 3D models to textures, with new and improved code, as well as bug fixes! Here’s the full changelog:

• 🎨 Added 2 new color swatches for the Holiday Tree: Dark Pine Green and Snowy Forest Pine.

• 🎁 Remade the Holiday Tree decorations from scratch.

• ✨ New Magical Star item with beautiful glittery color swatches (perfect as a tree topper!)

• 🎄 New Holiday Tree Decorative Ball with several swatches (and the ability to customize their color and light by turning them into lights!)

• 🧱 Refreshed 3D models and textures for the Ligoo Blocks.

• 🪆 Refreshed 3D model and textures for the Ligoo Character/Doll (with added new swatches!)

• 🪁 Revamped code for the Ligoo Toybox—you can now purchase Ligoo Blocks directly from the Toybox along with other toys! Plus, a brand-new Ligoo Toybox comes pre-stocked with 18 free Ligoo Blocks. Yay!

• 🗂️ Added all decorative items to the new Build/Buy catalog category: Life Events.

• ✔️ Other code improvements and fixes.

How to Install

• Download the file attached to this post down below: "Arnie_MagicalWinterfest_2.0.package"

• Put it in your Mods folder (and make sure you enable mods in the game's settings) and don't forget to remove any previous version from your mods folder too!

• Enjoy :) You can find the items by searching for "Magical Winterfest" or "Arnie" in the build/buy searchbar.
