UPCOMING CHANGES! + PERSONAL NEWS & JOURNEY

Hey dear friends,

I have some news today regarding the evolution of my content!

I have received an email from EA yesterday, asking for changes in the way I promote my content, to respect their Intellectual Property Enforcement. This means changing the name of a tier on this Patreon page, the look of my promotional images, and other stuff. Let's get into it!

Regarding this request, I am now upgrading all my visuals on social media. As you can see up above, here is the layout I will be using from now on for my mods, I've actually been working towards this kind of new look for a while now, as you can already see on my WeTransfer Page! I hope you like it :)

They also asked of me that I remove Sims 4 logos and Plumbobs from all my online images, which I will of course comply with, that includes as well my pdf guides. This means some download links could be down until October 22nd, if you happen to encounter a dead download link, please wait for the new guide to be uploaded, this might take from a few minutes to a day or two, your patience will be greatly appreciated.

I still need to exchange a few emails with them to confirm things that need to go and things that can stay, especially the Plumfruit logo, too close to a Plumbob design from what I've been told. I'll keep you updated on this.

My former website has now been taken down as well, this is a personal decision since I bought a new domain (with a more personal naming) a few months ago and intend to rebuild it from scratch for future content, sims and non-sims related! I will keep you updated on the launch of this new website!

To avoid any further requests and to respect their IP, I have also changed my name on twitter, which is no longer @thesims_plus, it is now @Arnie_Plus ! Embracing my identity!

In the end, no worries, it is absolutely fair from them to request protection of their intellectual property, and some of the things that look too much like their own brand is actually old stuff from my old posts and websites. Plus, it's actually a good way for me to renew myself and keep on with a fresh start (see down below)

A FRESH START - Personal Journey

I have some personal information to share as well with you today! I am finally able to return to my home in Mauritius after almost a year spent away, in France!!🥳 The borders are now fully opened and I will be returning there with my partner on November 1st

This means several things:

• Moving Week: I might be offline for a week or two around this date, taking some time to pack my stuff, say goodbye to loved ones, and finally settling in my apartment back in Mauritius!
• Community Manager: I will FINALLY be able to hire a full time community manager in Mauritius, who will help me answer all of your messages, and manage my social media platforms, that I have almost never been able to respond properly until now... This will be a gigantic change in my professional and personal life, helping with stress management, organisation, and mental health... I couldn't be more excited, and I can't wait to introduce you to this lovely person.
• New beginnings: coming back to Mauritius is going to allow me to start working on new projects, sims and non-sims related, that I am eagerly looking forward to reveal to you...
