hullo Hope you are doing ok, i saw a lot of people having the same issues, but when the farmland package is in the mods folder I can't open the game as it says that they are some missing files or something. :) have a great break.

Do you have any CC? Major mods seem to work with it, but I noticed certain CC like hair and clothing can cause some bugs, my Sims little picture at the bottom during playing had her arm stuck in the air

Hello, I downloaded the mod but I do not get the animal farms when I buy them and when I go far away in the world to see more, everything turns purple. I closed everything and started again but the error remains. Help :(

I had to delete it :( As soon as I would talk to George or try to get tips from him, my screen doesn't go purple, but all of a sudden all you can see is a starry night sky.

With Better Exceptions, it is saying that this mod has a bad tuning script related to aspirations--I receive a LE as soon as I launch my game with this message. I've been ignoring it, but now when I tried to go to a different world, my game failed to launch and blamed it on this mod 100%. I was instructed to delete your mod and wait until it is fixed before using again. I love this mod--but I really can't afford to break my game again.

I'm having several issues, but the worst is "Register as farmer" isn't working at all. I'm not able to even enter City hall. Does the creator even monitor or reply here, because i haven't seen anything about any bugfixes, etc

Can teens be farmers? I can't seem to have my teen registering so I am stuck with George, he tells me to register I go to the "city hall' and nothing happens :/

I got a nasty lag, my kid goes to school at midnight, my sims moodlets drop rapidly to the point it is full and 2 seconds later it is dropped to zero. I try to improve gardening and the skill does not increase. Everything goes out of sync, and it lags bag. Any Clue, is anyone else having the same issue? Should I uninstall and reinstall see if that fixes it?

I have one question how do I feed the chickens because it won’t let me other than use items in my inventory

You have to adopt each animal I believe. Have you tried clicking on the ground (not the sign) to see what options show up?

I'm also having trouble with the land plots. When I try to put animals on it everything disappears, even the sign so I can't reset it. I also cannot go to Chateau Rose, because no one lives in it. Or maybe I'm just missing something I need to do first.

At this point, you are just being annoying! Be patient or just move a long!

Not sure if you figure it out but in case you didn't, just click on the coop in game, click sell chickens then click coop again and sell coop.

I love this mod! It's making me excited to play for the first time in a while. I heard you were going to be fixing some glitches. I'm currently experiencing an issue when I buy a piece of land whenever I choose to spawn an animal the sign disappears. Pretty sure you're already working hard to fix this! Appreciate your hard work, I can't wait to get back into the gameplay once this issues resolved :-)

You were right! I bought the bot right next to his house and it worked! But then the aspiration disappeared all together :-( I'll try again the next time it reloads. Wondering if that might help :-)

LOVING this mod so much!!! I am stuck at one part in the Aspiration "Country Farmer Challenge" though. It says to "Buy a piece of Land" I have purchased two separate plots of farmland but it doesn't advance to the next section. Wondering if I am just misunderstanding. Thanks in advance for any help! Hey Arnie, I just downloaded the mod yesterday, and I tried to purchase the lots. The problem is, once I do, the animals I choose never spawn, it's just an empty field. And when I try to spawn vegetables, it works...but i get a purple screen. This is with the newest update. I even removed all my mods to see if that would fix it, but it didn't.

I suggest we be patient. Arnie has created a marvellous world, and I too experience some glitches. If the coming update works, all is well. If not, I will reassess whether I want the world.

The thing to realize is that mods are a lot of work, and this one, in particular, is a pretty hefty mod. And it's still in early access and Arnie is working incredibly hard to fix everything he can.

I am disappointed with these mods, only errors.

I do have some issues still, like the game getting over loaded and shutting off (my main issue), though after I updated windows (after the Origin update broke everything) and then redownloaded my game and the packs (: Farmland is now working in my game. I can build, buy, play and farm now, before I couldn't even travel to any lots. I did not add the camera state back in after I updated everything, I added the save file and Farmland mod only, in their respective folders. No I don't see the purple anymore and no I don't get to see at the extra high distance, though I can still see the tags over the houses/plots of land anyways. I have viewing distance set to high in settings. I took out a lot of mods, including Better Exceptions bc the pop up text that accompanies the BE mod seemed to be off time when the pop up message would arrive. Its like the BE mod was causing a problem of its own bc it detected a problem with Farmland lol I also took out all the school mods I had, like get to school/more buyable venues, I have yet to add them back in the folder with Farmland bc I was waiting to hear from Arnie before I messed with the working folder/game I have right now. So I created a different mods folder with the alt venue/school mods and other seemingly incompatible content. I did this separate mods folder thing so I can still be able to play with the mods I love and play with Farmland too. The only thing is if you do this, make sure to also have a separate tray and save folders and try not to get them mixed up when transferring them over. I would like to find out what settings Arnie has for his game that is working or most compatible, like what setting to put the viewing distance with or without the camera file? and are you using uncompressed texture or post processing effects? Also, what to set the lighting, reflection and other setting options. I also would like to know what extra mods work or don't work for others? I know the Discord has a small list that includes vehicle mods that are in conflict, though I still have the space/hover bike cc in my game and they are still drivable, so Idk. Im still testing which mods are working with my game and cc collection. So far these are the mods in my folder that are working with the 20 gigs of cc I have: MCCC, UI Cheats, Wicked Whims, KS-SOL (My personality, My social life packs, memorable events), Turbos immersive farting/timeline unclogger, and no empty venues. I will update after I add more mods and test them in game. By the way, the Discord is kind of a scary place, that's also very informational.

Does anyone know how to delete the chicken coop for some reason I can't delete it in build and buy mod, the coop is facing the wrong way and my sims can't feed or interact with the chickens. I don't know if its the mod or the placement of the coop that's keeping my sims from interacting with them. Is anyone else having this issue?

im not sure if it is because of this mod but my sims keeps crashing. The game worked fine for two days with the mod but then it kept crashing. Has anyone else had this problem? farmland was the only mod i had in my game.

I love❤💖 the new Mod its my Fav thing about the sims4 right now but here are some issues I have found- Electronics dont work in the bar in Eden hills when it rains. The animals are static and get stuck quite often, The movement of the horses may need tweaks. Im not sure why My version of Farmland did not include the saved file?? Last but not least this is a awesome mod that I'm obessed with great job.

Hello everyone, for those experiencing issues with Arnie's mods, what I did is I unloaded Arnie's Brookeheights and Tmex-BetterBuildBuy mods. Then I started a new save file and it worked for me. It would really help you a lot if you have the TS4 Ultimate Mod Manager to help you in loading/unloading your mods. I hope this helps.

The mod worked for me, but I dont have Edit World mod. Maybe farmland will be compatible if you delete Edit World Tool. Otherwise the mod works for me, only issue is I keep receiving an LE when I enter my family gameplay

Yep, you go to your picture, click manage memberships, edit on Arnie and choose to cancel membership. Hope to be helpful to you :D.

Most likely, there are mods that are in conflict with Arnie's farmland mods. I tried to play this in an unmodded version and it is working fine.

Arnie, I'm getting an error for the farming aspiration in the package file for Farmland. Edit: NMND, I see it added to the listed issues in Discord.

Is there anyone with the same problem? I installed Farmland in my own save game. (Went to the globe and installed it) everything went fine but no building is accessible... bank, jazz club, etc. I get the mssg from my sim as if there is no door available. I tried in build mode to add a door but i can not acces the farmland plot so can not change anything. Is there anyone else with the same problem? BTW I also installed better maps 4k.

Where is George?!.. I haven't seen him once, i've visited his lot different times of days, enabled his visits, looked around his garden, farmers market, actually looked all around Eden and haven't seen him. My chickens only have feet and all my animals say they're starving even after I've fed them a 100x. The game has a bit of a late response when it comes to any tasks that have to do with farming. It would be an AMAZING mod, it's just the little things...

It hasn't happened again because I haven't tried the option again, but after my sim started talking to the farm guy (can't remember his name) and they buy the lot, the entire screen looked like I was staring at the stars. It was super weird and I couldn't fix it without restarting.

Not sure if this is already a known issue but I get an LE for Farmland as soon as I load in each game. Having lots of little random gameplay bugs with it too, mostly having to do with the sims panels and them lagging forever before doing what's been tasked of them.

You can, the animals, plots and stuff are in built/buy mode. Just place them on your land.

For some reason when I go to purchase say a fish farm or other land to have animals the field becomes blank

I didn't realize you couldn't make a farm on your own property!!!! Good job on this mod, like really well done and detailed. Only removing from my game bc I just wanted to make my won little farm on my lot!

So I played around with it and I can confirm that when I change the farmhouse lot to a different build the world will no longer load. Editing the lot doesn't affect it though. I just can't replace the lot. While this was a minor issue for me, if someone has played a long time I don't want them to replace the lot and then have their game corrupted and lose all their progress. I don't know if going back to a previous save would fix it.

mine just isnt working. its removed my sims farming aspiration, its removed my farming registration and wont let me do it again so i cant get a tractor licence, my sheep have disappeared, i cant get a loan from the bank it says its closed but i was there on a tuesday at 11am so should of been open, i was having no issues at first then it all broke. my game is super laggy too

When you import into an already established save file, Kate Emerald’s farmhouse or the lot that you built Arnie doesn’t transfer over. Those lots are only available in the save file that you created. Is there way that you can update to make then available in all save files once Eden Hills is imported?

Hi Arnie, Love the mod! the world is so cool and the crop farming is amazing! I am having a few issues though with the camera turning purple when zoomed too far out. I'm also unable to farm animals as theres no option to adopt when clicking on the land, my farmer aspiration has gone blank also, like it disappeared after I completed hopping on the horse. Hope this feedback is useful and thanks again for an amazing mod!!

this is a beta, so-to-speak, so there will be some issues. Arnie worked really hard on this, so be cool. Go to discord with your specific issues, read what's happening and the fixes, and know that he spends a lot of time working on this. You may have to re-download the updated mod. Remember - this is HUGE.

How do I feed the horse?

Every time I place a chicken coop it says there is a ladder leading to a basement and then the whole thing disappears. I can't find Nancy anywhere and it says to do so before proceeding at city hall.

I found that redownloading the camera mod and then starting a new game instead of loading a saved game made the camera mod finally work correctly.

So is anything going to get fixed lol? At this moment its unplayable and i will delete it from the mods. Making the game super slow and cant even have fields with animals

So I got this mod yesterday and I followed all the download directions the way he said. However, when I downloaded the optional camera mod; when I zoomed out it wouldn't go past the normal limitations. It won't show me all the world. I have his world edit mod too. Should I use that camera instead? Does anyone know what can help me? Thanks in advance for your help!

Arnie, I just wanted to let you know I keep having issues with the Farmland world not loading when I click to play my family. It gives me an error code and tells me to relaunch the game. **Update** I think I figured out the issue. I just realized I changed the in-game farmhouse to a different build, I wonder if that's why it won't load. Will go back to the original lot and see if that helps.

Hi Arnie! Congrats on the mod launch, I love it! With the first update I can now create crops and animal farms, meet George however the screen is still purple when zooming out and the Farmer Aspiration is now showing blanc, as if there’s no challenges to complete.

Your mod are not stable at all. The interaction sometime is not respond or a bit delay.

Loaded world (apparently successfully) but game crashed and now restarting its stuck on the sims 4 screen.

Arnie? Is there anyway to make new buildings/lots with your mod? I'd like to have more building space for sims in your world but the only places I see open is sporting goods and I think that was it.

Having trouble accessing discord but was having issues with George not showing up for the first few days, but after he did, now when I scroll out to get a better view of the world, it goes purple. All I can see is the little car icon that says travel and the entire screen goes purple until I zoom in a little further.

Hi, I'm on a Mac so no Discord for me, but the Open World itself won't load for me on 1.0.1. I can tell my Sim to go into the open world, and she'll walk over to the World, but won't actually go into the world. Not sure if this matters, but the world is Red instead of Blue for me.

My game crashes every time I try to load my people that I moved into the open lot in Eden

Hi there. The chicken coop won’t load on my game. It says that there is something in the basement?

Still cant spawn the fields with the animals. Got the pop up for the piggies, but then after nothing comes, same for the other animals. Only the crops works

Hey Loida! Glad you could still load it up using the save file! The only problem I could think about is if you were missing one of the two packs required? If not, you can still transfer your sims from a save file to another using your gallery!

I couldn't find the download button. It's been hours :(

I got the town to load but I cant enter town hall to register, also I put a chicken coop on my own lot and it says a ladder appeared and there is something below. The coop disappears there it no ladder and I'm out the money i spent on the chickens. I didn't most while downloading and I have deleted and started a new save 3 times and each time is the same, What am I doing wrong?! I see alot of people having the same problem I shall wait patiently for a bug fix. Thank you so much for all you work I expected like all games to have some bugs, on a positive note it looks wonderful and Im so so excited to dive in!!

Hi Arnie, thank you so much! Discord isn't working for me, so I thought I'd post it here: Sadly, the assets won't spawn when importing the world. It doesn't matter how long I wait for them (I have tried deleting every other cc or mod, but it still did not work) Downloading your save file and playing in it works, but I'd love to play with my 10 generation family savegame. Thanks for your hard work!

If the same issue has been reported several times no need to report it again! Thank you for your patience I am investigating. You can use cheats and teleport inside open venues for now to go around this

Hey! I'm investigating this right now. It seems to be happening for several people. While waiting for a fix, you can teleport inside the buildings! Use cheats, shift+click the floor and choose teleport

ahhhh - i'm confused and old and new to all of this. I'm also on a mac so it won't let me open the discord, so i'm sorry for posting here! My sim can't get into any of the buildings like the bank or city hall even on your save file. Any ideas...
