GOODIES + MOD NEWS + HAPPY NEW YEAR ! <3

Dear All,

Yesterday we celebrated the end of one of the weirdest years we ever lived. Even though this year was tough, we got to witness so much creativity all over the world, so much Love shared online, and people still managed to come together, as we do, thanks to technology.

This year was special to me because I discovered the kindness and unbelievable support from all of you, & from the whole Sims Community. And I am deeply grateful for the small amount of joy I could bring to you through the creation of Mods. Watching "let's plays" on YouTube from China, Japan, Germany, France, UK, Brazil, Thailand, and so much more made me realize how connected we could be, even though we were locked at home all around the planet. 

It also gave me more confidence in myself with the process of creation. Your support was like a candle of Hope, giving me light in the darkest moments, and I cannot thank you enough for this. I wish you all a wonderful and Happy New Year! 🥳

To thank you all for your support throughout the year, I came up with the idea of making little goodies that can be customized in your name. More about them at the end of this post.

MODS & NEWS

But first, let's talk about Mod News and what are the plans for 2021.

- COMMUNICATION : I have had a hard time to stay in touch with everyone last year, because I received thousands of private messages and am not able to respond quickly by myself while working on mods, managing my website, YouTube Page, Twitter account and personal life. To improve communication with all of you, wether it's for help, ideas or just chatting, I have just opened a Messenger account where it will be much easier to see and respond to your messages. Feel free to text me there when you want, I will receive notifications and will be able to respond at all times compared to the Patreon messaging system which is quite tricky sometimes. You can now text me here : Messenger Arnie. (If I haven't responded to your Patreon Private Message yet, feel free to send it again there, I will see it easily)

A community manager is also joining me on Discord this year : No-Esha, you can give her a round of applause for the amazing work she has been doing already, to help you connect and communicate.

- FARMLAND : as you might know, Farmland is currently in development and scheduled to be out in March. I am now looking for the name of this new semi-open world, inspired from Italian, Slovenian, Swiss and North American Landscapes. You can now submit your ideas for the name of the world at this link, (with a question about features) the best ideas will be voted in a community poll on Patreon very soon! I can't wait to read what you come up with🐮 

- WORLD EDIT : I hope you are having fun with World Edit Mod! I love seeing some screenshots of your worlds on Twitter! A new update will be coming this year with an auto-installer, much more open lots/interactive venues, more world effects, quests items, and more... I have read your bug reports and am still investigating the glitches some of you encountered. The main issues seem to be coming from this : make sure the world file is in the right directory, and that you are running the latest version of the Sims 4 (not Legacy).

- BROOKHEIGHTS 2.0 : Brookheights is moving this year! Get To Work will no longer be required for it to work properly, because Brookheights will be moved to the empty world I created for World Edit. This will allow two things : your sims will be able to live in Brookheights, and with 5 lots in the middle, you will be able to manage households like other worlds in the game. This will convert Brookheights from the open world you've played to the new semi-open world system I am now creating, giving more gameplay opportunities, while keeping a huge open area. This will also allow you to go back to the hospital or police station freely again. Yay! And finally, it will unlock the playable area, making the world bigger, and the first expansion will let you import a school / high school campus (like the university campus you can import from World Edit). Work-in-progress, stay tuned 🤓🌃

- PRO BUILD MOD : Pro Build Mod will be given a 3.0 update very soon. Delivering even more secret debug items, and more, watch out🛠

- SNOWY PLUS : A small mod giving more gameplay to the Snowy Escape EP is around the corner. Originally planned as a surprise at the end of December, I decided to add a bit more options to it... Ready? Aaaaand... SNOW❄️ 

- MORE MOD PACKS : I am hoping to release at least 3 Mod Packs this year, all of them being at least the size of the Brookheights Mod Pack. Starting of course... with Farmland 🚜 

- AIRPORT CHALLENGE : I will be visiting your Airports from the #Airport Challenge on the gallery next week! The winner(s) will receive a digital gift. Can't wait to visit them but the screenshots I saw on twitter already made me excited 😜

GOODIES

To thank you all for your support throughout the year, I came up with the idea of making little goodies that can be customized in your name.

As you can see in the pictures up above, I have created a printable Plane Ticket which is called the VIP BOARDING PASS for the City of Brookheights. It's a way for me to give you a little something that is physically touchable, unlike my virtual creations, representing what happened in 2020 : the connection that can be made around the world while staying at home. It's also a nice way to take Brookheights out of a computer, with a reference to the Story Mode of Amos and Amelia, but now it's like you are taking the plane to go there😉✈️. 

The download links are being sent today and tomorrow to all of you through private messages.

But I have a little something more for all the Townie and SimGuru Tiers (that took me quite a while to create and find the right way to have them made as I imagined). As I've told you a few weeks ago, it's now impossible for me to recreate or name townies in future packs after you, because there are too many of you and it wouldn't hold in a a Sims 4 world or save file now😅. So I came up with an idea a bit more personal that I hope you will love as much as I do : The Brookheights Passeport. Customized with your name and a picture of your choice printed with a shiny gold finish on the cover, and delivered with the plane ticket and a little handwritten message ; you can now claim and receive your customized Passeport and Plane Ticket at home, in your real mailbox (no "testingcheats on" needed 😜). Take a look at them on the pictures up above!

I hope you like this idea as a gift to thank you for your support, and more goodies will be coming in the future with the next Mod Packs.
