NEW PATCH BREAKING YOUR GAME

The Sims Team released a new "Hotfix" patch today, and it appears to break even more games than the one before... They might release another one (again) in the next few days. I encountered those glitches, here is a little guide to help you :
- Game/save file not loading -> force quit and relaunch origin
- Infinite Loading screen -> Repair Game (using right click in Origin)
- Other glitches -> Try again by disabling your mods folder.
I am still exploring what could conflict with Brookheights in the next few days, and I hope the Sims Team releases a new patch that won't break our games this time. When it's back to being stable, I will release the last BETA (0.5 GM)
In the meantime, feel free to re-download Brookheights 0.41 to see if it's still working for you with this new patch.

2020-11-21 19:31:03 +0000 UTCi was having bad issues from the last patch. i can't travel anywhere with my sims. it just puts me in a continuous loop back to the manage worlds screen. I've been trying to fix it since.

2020-11-20 13:18:17 +0000 UTCI too had issues. Though, once I replaced my Mods with updated versions, everything went back to normal. Updates included were: MC Command Center, Wicked Whims, Basemetal and then re-downloading this mod again. After the the last two updates from EA, Brookhights wouldn't load and my game kept crashing but now that is fixed since I re-downloaded all of these. I kept my CC folder out while I was trying to fix these thing, as last time I didn't move my folder, somehow all my mesh's got deleted and that was irritating.

2020-11-19 02:07:04 +0000 UTCIf it weren't for Twisted Mexi's Better Exceptions mod, I wouldn't be sane right now. I was going through my mods folder for a week before the big patch hit and it still messed things up for me. Thanks for keeping us updated on the Brookhieghts mod.

2020-11-18 17:12:16 +0000 UTCTo fix the problems that you're having with the new patch update 1 remove all files that are important such as your mods your saves your tray Move them to a safe place go into documents EA Arts or electronic Arts delete your Sims 4 folder go into origin online start your Sims 4 game reset your preferences for your graphics go to other click allow script mods close the game and then it will work
