Yesterday saw the drop of Naomi's 4th video on my channel, so let's have some fun facts!
Naomi was created to be a self-insert originally--she was originally going to look like me, too! I used my own face and style as a model originally, but I quickly abandoned that idea and gave Naomi her own design in the end.
(Super fun fact though, I have a beauty mark right under one of my eyes. When I include that in a character design, it's a telltale sign I'm being narcissistic and drawing myself. )
Naomi serves as a way for me to ramble and talk about things in my own life--specifically DnD. Most notably, her "Nerdy Girlfriend Rambles About DnD" audio details an actual game I played in a few months prior.
Naomi is also the only character on my channel who started out in a real relationship with her listener (with the only other exception being Emmeline, but Emmeline's relationship with Darling is... different).
(Also, feel free to ignore the sketch labeled "Elena" in that rough sketch dump... she may or may not come up again, I haven't decided yet.)

Would you believe that was after aboutb5 hours of trying and throwing out sketches? That was not a fun time, but I also adore her final render!
