18 is great. Probably still my favorite episode but Subaru doesn't do much to redeem himself other then accept he has flaws but is not irredeemable. It's in 19 that he actually uses Rems support to find strength and wisdom to do something. And then he thanks Rem. It's not the end of his redemption but it's the start. ep 21 makes a good halfway point for the arc but that's probably too many episodes and Rem wouldn't enjoy 2 battle episodes that much

I’m honestly rewatching it and I think Episode 18 is a great stopping point or if Rem can’t take that much then I’d say Episode 15 or 16 at least would be best
