Claire ?
Added 2019-04-22 18:48:21 +0000 UTCA couple of months ago, I stumbled upon a cute little comic that was supposed to be for an American audience but never quite got its footing outside of Europe. The Dutch comic Claire caught my eye and I fell in love with...well...Claire!
It's odd finding a comic with a rather simple and cute style that is made for an adult audience. The comic follows Claire and a few other characters (her partner Ricky, her cat Pimmetje, and her friends Jup and Brix) and I've come across a lot of pages already that just unabashedly show nudity and sexual scenes. That's probably why it didn't catch any footing over here... we can be a bit too prudish at times. Hell, one of the covers even shows Claire and Ricky post-sex.
Well, I'm working on learning Dutch. It's an interesting language and Claire helps me practice.... except I also thought she was rather cute so I spent a good amount of time drawing her.... I can't help it, she's adorable ?
