2021-05-24 01:11:05 +0000 UTCI'd say artstyle, kink and content play a big part. Any semblance of a male in hentai is an immediate turn off for me, so if someone either does versions without or art without males that's a massive factor for me. Artstyle is the second biggest factor, but the first one I listed decides if I support them on Patreon or not. And I'd say the 3rd biggest factor is value. Getting all NSFW content for a reasonable price deff helps the decision.

2021-05-24 01:06:16 +0000 UTCArt Style: This is a yes/no for me. If I don't enjoy the artstyle, I don't really follow the artist. As long as the art style doesn't dramatically change, I don't see this as a huge influence, but checking it in the poll as it's a basis for entry. NSFW content: I see doing more NSFW as a way to get more subscribers (sex sells), but it's also a personal choice of the artist. Characters: This is probably the biggest driver for me, personally. WoW/Blizzard characters were a big draw for you and other artists. Blizzard properties in general just aren't as popular as they once were. What you find popular now may not be the same as others who once had a mutual interest. This could probably be a poll unto itself. Other: The big thing for this category, at least for subscriptions, is a consistent quantity/type of work. You're meeting that, but just putting it here for awareness of what's important.

2021-05-23 21:14:41 +0000 UTCArt style and spiciness. If my first instinct is "I need that picture" for every piece of their art I want to support them.

2021-05-23 21:09:18 +0000 UTCOf course quality is important but lets say for example you like 2 different artists for their artstyle with the same passion. Wich would be the factor to choose one from another?

2021-05-23 19:19:26 +0000 UTCAll of the first three to be honest, nsfw is not a must but still I'm with the other two

2021-05-23 19:07:13 +0000 UTCArtstyle and characters are the things that make me follow an artist long-term and enjoy their works. But if we're talking supporting artists on Patreon, then I basically just use it as a kind of "tip", to say thank you to artists who have done awesome commissions works for me, and in most cases I don't even do that, because I'd run out of time and money pretty soon :o

2021-05-23 19:05:23 +0000 UTCArt style, of course mostly the art style. If I'm going to give an artist my money, then the artist must deliver good quality, not just mere sketches a toddler could draw better. I don't care about OC, I don't care even if the character drawn is disgusting to me (like the stupid and dirty Dimitreshit vampires, ugh), if the art is good then I stick supporting that artist. But if the "artist" just doodles, keeps its work dirty with the sketch lines still visible and/or keeps drawing again, and again, and again, the same character, excusing it of minor "variations", then to me is worthless and I'm not sticking giving my money to that artist.

2021-05-23 19:00:53 +0000 UTCArt style mostly. Although in my case, I also tend to support artists I commission, or want to commission, and hang around barring incident. NSFW content does help and I'm not too terribly concerned over the characters barring getting arts of my own OCs, or other folks OCs I really like over more well known ones, but I think more people have that in reverse and prefer more popular characters than OCs.
