Halloween #3: Celebration of Superheroes VOD

Last weeks Halloween zoom party is now available for replay! It's a weird one. Cowboy Jon and I had a long sit down after the celebration and I'm happy to report that we are now on much better terms.

Boy, do I enjoy jabbing with you all. I couldn't believe I only played 7 songs when the night was through (the band technically played 10). I'm trying to prioritize unique experiences over playing the same songs every Halloween. Still trying to find the right balance.

I'm happy we were able to debut "Here Comes The Gremlin Man." I've always enjoyed the live version of "21st Century Nightmare," and although this performance was particularly rough, I believe it has it's moments. We really just need 30 minutes or so to work it out. I also knocked my guitar out of tune by banging it into the pole and didn't realize until it was halfway finished. "Morning Star" has been a live show staple for years, but it somehow ended up on the chopping block in Chicago. Sadly I think this is just something that happens as you release more music. It's a lot like Toy Story; you get excited to play with new toys while the others collect dust on the shelves. That said, I'm finding a newfound enthusiasm trying to take some of the older favorites and present them in a fresh way.

Getting excited thinking up plans for future Halloweens! Next up is Halloween #4 (July 31st).
