Cleanse the organs

A wonderfully cleansing and rejuvenating practice, just in time for Virgo season! Using a combination of hatha yoga postures and kundalini kriyas, move through a sequence to detoxify the body, open and stretch the ribs, and uplift your mood. We begin by chanting the mantra OM NAMAH SHIVAYA to clear and refresh the mind, followed by a variation of nabhi (naval) butterfly on your back and happy baby to stretch. Then enjoy spinal movements in swan kriya, seated torso circles, and life nerve stretch with a forward fold. Then enjoy a flow for the nervous system that includes Warrior I with arm movements, pyramid, downward dog, cat/cow, thread the needle twists, and boat pose variations (including a fun peak pose of kundalini lotus).
