Navigate the energy of fear and notice how it may hold you back from moving forward and enjoying your personal harvest. We begin by reflecting on Arjuna’s moment of fear in the Bhagavad Gita to sense its presence in our own bodies, followed by a meditation to soothe, comfort, and create new energetic pathways. The practice starts reclined with some guided relaxation, hip openers, and supported shoulderstand. Balance your emotions with a lotus meditation and child’s pose, clear out old energy with half shoelace, then complete the journey by opening the heart in supported fish to expand and receive.

Living Your Yoga embodiment practice: When you become aware of being afraid or anxious, bring your attention to those places in your body where you feel sensations. For many of us, this may be in the throat, the diaphragm, or the stomach. Breathe easily, feeling what arises without judgment or analysis. As you continue to breathe, say out loud to yourself, “I am feeling afraid.” Your willingness to admit that you are afraid can greatly lessen fear’s grip on you.
Mantra for Daily Living: I can do this.
