Hi everyone!
It's been a busy month for us: we released both our April game and out May game, and we found a solution for our June game!

We released If Letters Had Pants on Itch io sometime in the first half of the month, and the reception has been pretty good! We did two patches since the release, with fixes but also additional content. I'm working on one last patch before moving on to other things. We're all very happy with how this game turned out, and the player reception has also been quite good!
If Letters Had Pants, Would They Wear Them Like This? [etc] is out now on Itch io, for Windows, MacOS and Linux. It can also be wishlisted on Steam!

We also released Serpentes: 10th Anniversary Edition last week!
Serpentes is a game that Benjamin made in 2015, and got some really wonderful things said about it from other game designers. However the game didn't really find its audience of players and remained a reference only for designers and no-one else. Because of this, it has always been in the back of Benjamin's mind to give the game another chance with Punkcake.
This new version comes with 11 new fruits to unlock and mix with the original 10. The original game's mechanics were reworked and rebalanced, the new fruits add brand new mechanics, and of course the game got an original soundtrack from Pentadrangle!
Serpentes: 10th Anniversary Edition is out now on Itch io, for Windows, MacOS and Linux, and it too can be wishlisted on Steam!
A couple months back I noticed something pretty incredible. Our Steam stats tell us that the amount of Shotgun King copies bought on Steam plus the amount of copies activated on Steam, add up to over 500K. That's a pretty big milestone that I've been meaning to make public for a while, and I'm finally finding the time to do it!
Shotgun King has been a crazy journey for us, and it's mindblowing to see that it reached so many people. We're eternally grateful to everyone who got the game and gave it a try! Of course the journey isn't over, we're still planning to make more updates to the game. Hopefully we'll find some time to do at least a small one before the year is out!
We're finally doing it! We mentionned a couple of times our intentions to feature someone else's game in our Patreon subscription. We tried to do this with a couple of people, asking them to create a game for us, but it never panned out. So instead we tried a new and much simpler approach.
We learned that a developper we liked was about to release their already-finished game, and we offered to buy keys off of them for our Patreon. They accepted our offer and we are really excited to reveal who it is very soon! For us this is a really great way to do three things:
• Buy ourselves some time to make more games for the coming months.
• Support a developpers that has been an inspiration for us for years now.
• Shine some light on them by sharing their work with you all!
We're just waiting for the game to be ready to release on Steam now. It should happen this week, or the next at worst. Patreon subscribers will get Itch keys, Steam keys, and Bandcamp keys as usual!
Finally, our Discord community is organizing our yearly Punkcake Olympics competition to mark Punkcake's birthday! There are a total of 12 challenges on various games of ours, some of which only require playing the free demos, and winning them will get you keys for the games of your choice in our catalog.
We're really grateful to the couple of people who are setting this up and we can only encourage you to come to our Discord server and participate in the festivities!
Subscribe so your never miss anything from us!
That's it for this month! Because we just released two new games, we don't have much to share for our next releases just yet. But we'll have more news at the end of the month! We're really happy to have managed to get a game for each of the 6 first months of the year and we don't intend to stop there!
Thank you all so much for your support!
We wish you a great month of June! See you soon for the guest game release!
