NEWSCAKE: New free game for GMTK Jam! New member! No charge for September

This is a super quick one to let you know about what's been happening this August!
Benjamin made a new free game for the GMTK Game Jam! Meet Horizons: The End Of Words! (game depicted in the gif above)
It's a cosmic word game where you explore space by making words on a grid, as long as you have letters!
We're quite happy with it and we can already tell you that we'll be turning this one into a full Punkcake which is likely to be the game for September!
Julia has joined us! She's an illustrator and graphic designer in formation. She will be making us some fancy cover art for all our games and really can't wait to show you more of her work, but you can already see the new key art for Shotgun King above!
Finally we'll have better assets than the ones I've been cobbling together in Gimp ever since the start of Punkcake! This is honestly very exciting for us!
And that's pretty much it for now. The Shotgun King beta is still under way, both Benjamin and I have been hard at work adding some more new things, fixing bugs, and updating the controller support! We're getting close to the end but sadly we wrecked the existing translations for the game with a change we made, and so we'll have to wait for the updated translations before fully releasing the update out of beta.
All the work on Shotgun King has also pulled me away from Hot Wax, which is probably going to come out a little later so that I get to rest a little bit in September. On the bright side, it's looking like the game will drop just in time for the spooky season, which seems appropriate!
Since we accidentally charged you back in June and have not released anything since, we froze charges for September again.
