Sacred space

Connect to the sacred space of your body in this healing movement practice that offers softness, fluidity, and the vibration of peace. We begin with a brief reading from Chapter One of Living Your Yoga and a chanting of the mantra Om Shanti Shanti Shanti. We begin flowing right away with cat/cow, your choice of warmups, and standing forward fold. Warm up with a gentle variation of sun salutation C before a mandala sequence of tree, warrior 2, triangle, supported side plank, seated tree stretches, side bends and twists, and downward dog. End with some floor stretching of figure four and twisted roots. As Judith Lasater writes, “spiritual seeking is not what we do outwardly, but what we acknowledge inwardly… When we are open to the present moment, we shine forth.”
