REMINDER: Patreon meetup: sunrise full moon hike TOMORROW morning

REMINDER: sunrise full moon hike tomorrow bright and early! It looks like the weather may be cloudy tomorrow morning, but you never know how things will unfold. Park at the Gates Road entrance (link to the parking lot location below), and we’ll meet at the bridge just before 6 a.m. It’s just a short walk from the trail entrance. From there, we can view the sunrise/moonset and hike the rest of the way, about 3 miles. If you want to come and haven’t registered, please do so at the link below (no cost, it just lets me know how many people to expect). Let me know if you have any questions!

I know it's ambitious because sunrise is so early these days, but I'm up for it if you are! This is a free, weather-permitting meetup on the Sterling rail trail to watch the sunrise and full moon set. We'll meet at the Gates Road entrance, which is a short walk to the bridge (visible east and west views), and then walk the rest of the way after sunrise (~3 miles). Please prepare appropriately with footwear and clothing for an open dirt path in the woods.

The sun rises shortly after 6 a.m., and the moon will set around the same time, so we should try to meet around 5:45 at the latest. Again, it will be the Gates Road entrance on the Mass Central Rail Trail in Sterling.
