Release and put down the weight of the world and let yourself be held in this yin/restorative fusion practice. Don’t let the restorative part fool you! You’ll practice some deep stretching with pigeon, twists, and forward folds — but by utilizing extra support we can send a subconscious signal to the mind that ”all is well” and relax deeper into the muscular/tension release. On a physical level, you’ll rebalance the hips and pelvis for improved circulation and pain relief. Breathe deep and let the practice work for you.
Props: bolster (substitute bed pillows or firm cushions), blanket
