Meditation Challenge Day 3: Mudra Practice to Release Fear of the Future

(To be practiced on Tuesday, August 24)

How is everyone doing today? The collective energy is anxious and chaotic, but the SO HUM meditation and mantra has helped me a lot. Anytime it feels intense, I just close my eyes and breathe SO on the inhale, HUM on the exhale. I’ve also been incorporating it in my personal yoga practices.

Today’s meditation is a mudra practice that I find so beautiful, because it’s allowing your heart to be held for a period of time — shifting awareness from the mind to the intelligence of the heart while clearing subconscious clutter. This also incorporates longer periods of silence, allowing you to go deeper into the meditative space. It’s called “Meditation to Remove Fear of the Future.”

**For today, notice where you are feeling tension or contraction in the body, especially during periods of anxiety or uncertainty. Spend some time breathing into those spaces until you feel a shift in the energy. It might be very subtle, hardly noticeable, but any shift can create lasting change.**
