A pranayam-focused practice that includes strength-building warm-ups, the basic spinal series, and focused breathing practices. Breaths taught are dirgha (three-part complete breath), ujjayi (ocean breath), kapalabhati (skull-polishing breath), nadi shodhana (alternate nostril breath), and anuloma viloma (alternate nostril with breath retention). A pranayama (breath work) practice is such an important part of the yogic path and incredibly healing and transformative.
