Full moon forecast for Jan. 28 to Feb. 11, 2021

There is a lot of Mars energy with this full moon, as the sun is beginning to make a square to Mars, which will be exact in the beginning of February, and the moon will square Mars tomorrow just after the exact full moon. This will activate some of the Mars/Uranus energy we experienced mid-January. AKA in non-astrological terms — this might continue to show up as inconveniences and disruptions, and there’s a sense that not everything will go as planned. In mid-February, we’re also experiencing a Saturn/Uranus square (the energy is building now), which will offer up some unexpected teachings and lessons. Saturn has a way of redirecting when things have gone off course, and Uranus energy is never exactly what we expect. The Tarot forecast confirms this, because it’s showing plans that are reversing and shifting focus. The six of wands reversed indicates an energy of defeat around this, or feeling like your hopes have gone awry. So how do we work with this energy?

First of all, the amount of planets in air signs (mainly Aquarius) is putting nervous systems in overdrive... i.e. anxiety, racing thoughts, trouble sleeping, etc. We need to work with the elements of fire and water. The full moon will help, because it’s transitioning to the fire sign of LEO, which will give us some energy and inspiration to prioritize the things that make us happy and fill us with love. There are also some nice aspects with Chiron in the fire sign of Aries, which is pointing to the potential for powerful personal healing. In fact, Saturn, our greatest teacher right now, is making a sextile to Chiron and pointing to self-healing as the utmost priority for our personal growth.

To connect with the element of water, make sure to drink plenty of water and nourish yourself with longer showers, soothing baths, hot tea, activities near water (such as snowshoeing, visiting the ocean, or hiking near bodies of water). The only water energy in our collective astrology is Neptune in Pisces making difficult aspects, so we need to do this work ourselves. 

There’s also a lot of energy around relationships right now. Venus (the planet of love) is meeting up with transformational Pluto during the full moon, and many of these planets are in relationship houses. There may be very cathartic, emotional conversations with loved ones. There may be people resurfacing from the past. There may be contracts/cords beginning and ending. With Jupiter also joining up with the Sun on the full moon, there’s a strong message around knowing your worth, speaking your truth, and being honest with the people in your life about your needs and wants.
