Peace is an inner journey

Hi everyone! “Peace is an inner journey” is a short message my guides offered us during the Samhain mini-retreat last week, along with the advice to “just be present” and “carry the torch of love.” It can sometimes be difficult to find that sense of inner peace when the world is grabbing for your attention every which way, but it’s an energy only found within. It’s not something we can wait for or expect outside of ourselves. When we feel at home, at peace, grounded in our bodies and joyful for the gift of being alive on this beautiful planet, we share that energy and resonance with everyone around us, and they share it with the people around them — and it spreads and grows just by the simple act of choosing and caring for ourselves.

If you have 90 minutes to spare this week, I highly recommend Yin Yoga for Letting Go, especially if you’re carrying a lot of stress and worry. In addition, the Awareness and Intuition meditation I posted on Wednesday will help you get out of the mind and into the body, and the Meditation to Become a Channel and a Guide for Others will strengthen your healing aura and help you find a space of inner calm. The other suggestion that came through in some recent readings was to make your living space as cozy, comfortable, and grounded as possible. If you feel like you have everything you need around you (within reason), it can be very soothing for the root chakra, and will help you feel safe during periods of uncertainty.
