Libra Full Moon Tarot Reading

Key words: trust, sovereignty, play, introspection, platitudes, resistance, clear seeing, choice, shame

This reading is all about what we are expressing and how we are expressing it. It is also asking us to be mindful of how we receive the words of others. Justice is the fair result of actions and intentions, and in the space of the Queen of Swords, this relates to the embodied action of communication and of the power of words. The more we read something, for example, that offers a particular point of view, the more that belief becomes engrained and embodied in our energy and consciousness.

Justice is also the tarot card of Libra, and Libran energy is reminding us not to always take things at face value. We have a knowledge and belief system within us that is strong enough to form our own perceptions.

The six and ten of emotions (cups in traditional decks) offers a contrast between nostalgia (wishing for our old lives) and presence (fully embracing what we have in the moment. This is an ebb and flow that will come up over and over during this moon cycle, and we have a choice in every moment how to respond to it. Neither option is negative, it just is... and awareness of the choice will help us to remember that we have the power to decide.

Creative expression thrives in this energy. Truth will be rewarded. Love will always prosper. Your world, your reality. The choice is yours. ❤️

Here is some more information about the Libra full moon energy that I posted on social media.

Libra full moon: a reflection of self

The classic interpretation of Libra relates to balance, and from that harmony. But why balance and how it is initiated? If you look at Libra’s placement on the astrological wheel, it is opposite of Aries, the sign of the self. And Libra being the sign of relationship (as in how the self relates to the other) is a mirror of how we see ourselves.

A full moon in Libra, opposite the sun in Aries, is shining a light on how we appear, work with, and relate to others from that place of discovering the authentic self. Libra acts as a mirror. Rarely do they take things at face value, because it is their cosmic responsibility to offer another point of view (and they are often the first to express it). This offers us an opportunity to gain new perspective and grow, because a singular point of view doesn’t offer room for self-development.

In the same way, our relationships act a mirror, because they are reflecting who we are and where we can grow. It is no surprise that Libra has a reputation as an attractive sign, because what we are attracted to is what we yearn for ourselves. Beauty in the macro sense is a reflection of truth. Truth is an alignment with self. And there is nothing more beautiful than seeing that reflected back to us.
