Here's a recap because it's been so dang long you have probably forgotten: Thompson was called away to deal with a Kringle sympathizer elsewhere, after failing to seduce the man of the house (who happens to be Kelly O'Dor's boyfriend). Adler sent a Robota immediately afterward. A few months later Thompson showed up again, just before Halloween, wearing that dress.
