Opulence Devils revel in subverting mortal structures and corrupting them from within, perhaps even more so than their infernal brethren. Concealed beneath the guise of opulent dignitaries, statesmen or merchant-princes bedecked in jewels, their ostentatious presence screams of extravagance and excess. They entice with promises and bargains, especially those who have little and crave much. Even in combat, these devils seek to tempt their foes, ultimately goading them into their own damnation.
Smile impishly, as you hand your players a d8 “inspiration” die, each time they are missing with an attack or fail a saving throw. Watch them squirm and finally give in. Once they use three of those temptation dice - “encouraged” by the damage they take each turn they hold on to them - they get one last chance for redemption or they have found a new master. One who might decide to devour them whole or turn them into a golden statue to decorate its infernal office with.
