Ogres are gluttonous and vile in nature, wild ogres even more so than their more civilised kin who hire themselves out as extra muscle for legally questionable endevours. Some Ogres, however, gradually become more debased in their insatiable search for more and more food, eventually becoming dangerous, blood-drunk brutes hellbent on driving their carious tusks into everything they encounter, even taking their attention of ongoing fights to gorge themselves on the fallen combatants - much to the horror of the onlookers.
The Ogre Maneater is more dangerous and complex than a regular Ogre, acting as a great introduction into more tactical and challenging combat encounters for both the players and the DM. It brings new and interesting mechanics to the table - for example its Blood-drunk Frenzy:
