Coastal Marauder
Marauders rely on speed and the element of surprise to overrun less fortified and sparsely defended targets like coastal hamlets or monasteries. If met with resistance, the momentum of the attack needs to be upheld at any cost. During the assault, independent veteran war bands split off from the main force to hunt down enemy clusters before they can mount an organized defense.
Stormwrath Marauder
Stormwrath Marauders are conduits of the tempest’s fury, their heart beating intact with the rolling thunder. Warriors might be born blessed by the storms or elevated by a higher being that holds command over the elements, such as a Storm Giant, a dragon or even a god. They become chosen warriors, stalwart in their faith and honored keepers of the naval rites.
