A variant form of the common Ghoul, its tattered wings making it capable of flight. After nightfall, Garghouls stalk the skies. They are to locate worthwile prey, alerting their swarm upon discovery. As one, the Garghouls descend, paralyzing their victims with their bite before carrying them off into the dark. If acting as part of a larger force of Ghouls under the command of a higher Ghoul unlifeform, Garghouls often form the second wave of a larger invasion, using their maddening screams to disorient their terrified victims, before the main force emerges from their hidden dwellings. Swarms of Garghouls also patrol the vast caverns of the subterran Ghoul realms, seeking out intruders and calling their pale brethren to join them in their feast.
